If I still suck in 3015, I'll regret this. There is only one player left in the draft I want and I know what I want to to with them. Was going to forfeit those late picks if I couldn't sell them. THis just makes my life easier.

The fact that 20's can scumbag me and no one in the league cares is a sad state. If agreeing to a deal via PM, posting the deal and then deleting the deal because you negotiated a better deal prior to the first deal being accepted is not pure and total bullshit I don't know what it. I would hope Odin would chime in on this. |

The rule is both members must agree in a trade thread.. but the thread was deleted before I could accept. Adding some color, for what it is worth.
I wanted Law, knew I needed to get in before dump to take him. I was also working on getting 1.17 to take Stuckey, assuming Law was gone. I was also working on getting 1.15 from dump in hopes.
I made an offer for 1.14, 20s countered, I thought about it and had second thoughts because I didn't realize 1.14 was a non-lotto pick (I was being stupid) and I really wanted to ship the PG I took overseas. So I said I'd pass because it was a lotto pick and I wanted to send him overseas.
20s said ok, and explained to me that it wasn't a lotto pick.
I began writing another offer to 20s at the same time 20s posted the offer to bankz.
I made the offer to both 20s and bankz, realizing I really wanted that pick now. I couldn't have cared less who got those picks as long as I had 1.14.
20s said he wasn't going to scumbag bankz - I said that's fine because bankz is working on a trade with me for 1.14. He asked what bankz had said and I told him what bankz had said.
20s decided that he was going to rescind his offer to bankz since bankz hadn't accepted and was shopping the pick.
We made the trade.
Now - my thoughts. Is bankz right to be upset? Of course. Is 20s right to make the trade with me? Of course. I was giving a lot of value for that pick and both players wanted it. Bankz should have accepted the trade before 20s could rescind the offer. Instead, he started negotiating with me before ever accepting the pick. From my end - I just wanted the pick and couldn't care less who got those picks, so I'm not troubled in the least by any of this.

Even then, as Hebrew said, I told him I wasn't going to back out of the bankz one since I would feel bad. I see bankz online, bankz hasn't accepted our trade or returned any of my PMs yet. Hebrew tells me bankz is PMing with him asking who he wants and says he will trade him 1.14 if it isn't the guy bankz wants.
When I see that bankz is just going to trade 14 to Hebrew for the deal I prefer to his, and he hasn't even accepted my trade yet, I say screw trying to be nice to bankz and not back out even though his offer is way worse, if he isn't picking at 14 and is dealing it, I am just trading it to Hebrew.

At 9:28 am You started to have second thoughts and wanted out of the deal I woke up to all of this... and instead of trying to fuck you over and accepting the deal. I wanted to compromise with the three of us. Because before this I actually respected you for being a stand up guy in this league. My idea was to give you 1.27, 1.28 and 1.29 keep 1.19 and 1.20.... Heebs could draft at 1.14 IF he didn't take my guy.. But instead you fucked me. |
