People - just stop all mafia communication with anyone outside your PM thread (mafia or dead civ) once you die. It's not hard.
TimPig shouldn't be telling dead fecta who the mafia are.
People shouldn't be texting dead Civs.
I shouldn't be posting in the thread even when I think ank made a moderation error.
If we are all above board, we can have legit games and have the most fun.

For the Civs...  Only people who played well were: Soup for fulfilling his duty as bodyguard GBG stood out to me as a quality Civ. One of the few that calmly reasons things out. Given the circumstances I played the way I had to. Stupid eric rallying the troops to kill me out of thin air ruined it all. |

SPL should have been admin killed for texting me.
Ankly's "meh ok. I'll text him." after asking "who?" made me assume he was vanilla civ.
I had been suspicious of him to begin the game and dropped it after he texted me and Ankly made it seem like he was vanilla civ.

I told you I was a civ. I gave you a good reason. You were all 100% sure I was mafia. Next time just listen. I never anticipated cubs would be so clueless as to not only not believe I was civ but believe I was Mafia. From now on, don't do that.
I stand by delap's explanation for his voting making no sense. Delap, why didn't you vote for fecta to save 20s?

It is not like I discussed anything pertaining the game or what was in the individual messages but he makes a post not about the "individual" that sent him a message pertaining the game but me who asked him "who sent you the text message". I used my work IM to say to Ankly, "another player texted me. I don't want to say something in the thread because BK might quit. Let me know what you think I should do."
He asked who.
I said SPL.
He used the word "meh" which suggested to me you were vanilla civ.
I posted that anecdotally as evidence of why the rules are important.
I like you SPL and I hope you see there is no ill will intended.

I had fun playing. Losing for the reasons we did was annoying as shit, but overall I had a great time ignoreing work for most of the week. I will play again but regardless of role need to find a better work game balance and not spend all day hitting f5

Can't wait to play again. During my work meetings, I was questioning if everyone was lying or not. Not sure if thats good or bad, but its different than my normal work day and that's enjoyable.

If you make the decision that you are going to "play this game with honor" and actually stick to it, you will never make it past night 1. there is no reason for the mafia to leave you alive if everyone knows you are a civ. look at heebs last game. he was the first person killed once the mafia took out the cop. confirmed civs don't survive. so go ahead and try to play this game like a stand up guy. Just be prepared to never make it further than the first night. |

adding a last will feature would be nice.
gms can keep a last will of 255 characters or less, and if they die by execution or at night then it is displayed during their death message
