I think that was the downfall of the town in this last game. They tried to analyze too fucking much. I don't know how you're supposed to play other than analyzing other player's behaviors and potential motives. That's literally what the game is. If you don't see how over analyzing every fucking thing cost the town the game last time then I don't know what to tell you.

Re-reading the first few days Yawn played an exceptional game. SPL should have been obvious if we'd have analyzed his behavior.

We also did a horrible job of trying to work together. too many people trying to do their own thing and running their own ploy that did nothing but throw suspicion on themselves.

Laughed hard at underanalyzed. You guys couldn't quit typing out short stories every other post. It is a reasoning game. The purpose is to analyze. That's literally the entire game. You accuse, provide analysis for the accusation, and see how people react. Rinse and repeat.

I hope you've all learned from your mistakes. Not believing me, when I explain all of my actions, because my early random guess votes didn't happen to land on mafia members is silly.

delap said he was the cop I said I was civ Only one of us had demonstrated in the past that their word was good by telling the truth even when it was to their detriment, which was me I assumed people would act based on evidence; that was an incorrect assumption What occurred to me later yesterday was that the community in general is just devious in general. When I said I was mafia, everyone assumed I was lying. Even after it was demonstrated true, people still assumed I was lying this game. It's something we have to get past as a community - not the devious part, y'all lie to each other however much you want. We just need to collectively realize that I am actually honest, it will give town a huge advantage, which I want because most of the time I will be town. On mobile so this might be a little disjointed all of this makes sense except for one thing. If you make the decision that you are going to "play this game with honor" and actually stick to it, you will never make it past night 1. there is no reason for the mafia to leave you alive if everyone knows you are a civ. look at heebs last game. he was the first person killed once the mafia took out the cop. confirmed civs don't survive. so go ahead and try to play this game like a stand up guy. Just be prepared to never make it further than the first night. a few things even if i personally never made it further than the first night, my presence for one day would still tip the scales in favor of my team. that's what everyone's only goal should be - what can i do to help the company team. it has nothing to do with honor. i want to win the most games i can. we have the bodyguard, so the one person who is a confirmed civ should always make it past the first night at minimum. herb was a confirmed civ because delap was a confirmed cop because the bodyguard was already dead - this is not a situation that should happen on day one and even if i'm confirmed mafia i should make it past the first day, but i'll get into that more later when it comes up. (i anticipate being mafia in all three of the next games but that's neither here nor there.) If you don't see how over analyzing every fucking thing cost the town the game last time then I don't know what to tell you. i agree the problem was underanalysis. too many people going with their gut rather than thinking things through, both in whom they accused and how they pursued their civ goals. the wrong play for a civ is often indistinguishable from the right play for a mafia, which is why i kept harping on delap's vote for timpig instead of fecta - it was just the wrong play given the numbers at the time.

I'd say come forward if you can definitively identify a mafia member or if you have a couple people you know are civilians you can come forward with that info

People need to not take it personally when someone thinks they are mafia or "doesn't believe them". Everyone is going to be mafia at some point, it's not like you did anything wrong. And people are going to be wary of believing you even when you provide reasoning because the mafia would do that as well.
Also, everyone is going to be wrong. A lot. I have been. The game seems pretty tough. Maybe it is because we are noobs, maybe it is just always this tough.

the one thing I noticed is when people get voted against they will turn and point a finger at the person voting for them. Generally you will be suspecious of a person voting for you but you really need to look at the information that is being laid out in front of you and not put blinders on to the person that is voting at you like it is an attack.
