Ok so I was in a meeting and just got back.
Soup is shaking my confidence right now and actually being somewhat convincing that he is a civ.

We ( the Civs) have 3 rounds left to guess the mafia member. But the final round will be tricky af because one of the 3 people will be the mafia member and trying to influence votes.
There are 5 options (of unverified civs)
Soup
Delap
20s
Gbg
TimPig
My original 3 prime suspects are all still on this list since we voted fecta out last time (I labeled him and TimPig likely Civs due to voting pattern)
I'm fine going with someone other than soup, but my worry is that if soup is mafia and he makes it later into the game, he is going to have more influence on the vote and he might not ever get put on the chopping block. If we go soup then gbg then delap or delap then soup then gbg it shouldn't really matter, we just need to hit on one and those would be the 3 I choose. I am removing TimPig based on his voting pattern in round 1, however if he played both pete and myself with that, well done. I know I am not the mafia member but I don't expect anyone else to believe that as fact.
So I'm really struggling with the order here.

Mafia kills JHB.
It's now Canes, myself, TimPig, GBG, and delap.
We kill delap. He is a civ.
Mafia kills canes.
It's now myself, TimPig and GBG. One of the others is mafia but no one knows who. Getting the other 2 Civs to vote for the one mafia member would be tough.
Since JHB thinks delap is a civ and i agree with that reasoning, I say we go GBG or soup but i think those should be the next two plays in either order.
I went soup first because I think if say GBG and JHB die, we might have trouble getting a majority vote for soup next round.

Geography bee 2-5th grades Suck it For the record, after this day/night cycle I'm going to be MIA for 2-4 hours. Meeting the GF when I get off work here in 5 minutes for dinner and extracurricular activities for a bit. I'll get on later this evening. I now believe both of these men are liars. Will happily change my vote to either if anyone asks. |

Because my credibility is shot if soup is a civ (he has made that much clear) and I want to try both soup and GBG, I'll go gbg this round with the plan of going soup next round if GBG is a civ

I won the Geography Bee 6th-8th grade, including a 3rd place finish in the state in 7th grade.
I never won a Spelling Bee, but managed to finish 3rd every year from 3rd grade until 8th grade, somehow.
Our Brain Bowl team in high school (Quiz Bowl in some areas of the country) was the top team in the state 10th-12th grade and we finished 6th in the country in 12th grade. I was admittedly the 3rd best on a 4 man team... and the top 2 were both ridiculously savant-type geniuses.
Then I lost on Jeopardy! and my life was sad.

If the other 3 are going to vote for me, I'll have to be go soup because it's better than a 0% chance (although then I'll just get killed next round if he is civ and that will be the 0% chance)
But id rather throw gbg on the block first, not changing right now to see if we can get enough steam for him
