We were so fucked at the start of the game that there was no way we were going to recover. Especially when the fuck with A.D.D. on my team gives my no other hand to play other than a sacrifice. I tell BK, we have 4 hours till vote, let's see how things turn. 10 minutes later he makes a 3rd vote on me and someone else votes for a 4th.

1. Heebs fake cop move was dumb, but it ended up working for the town as it forced Pete out.
2. Mafia was dealt a bad hand in round 1, but SPL still fucked up. He was given lemons and shoved them up his ass instead of trying to make lemonade. Losing a mafia member is manageable if you can derive some benefit from their loss (e.g. take out the Bodyguard or buy credibility for your teammates). By self-claiming mafia that goes out the door.
3. On both nights 1 and 2, the mafia contemplated hitting eric before arriving on their ultimate targets. Eric's "Please Protect Me" ploy worked fantastically.

Frankly, game 3 was more about random chance than good sleuthing. Not that there was much potential for sleuthing given how the early days unfolded.

I always intended to make GBG the vote I just wanted to see if I could trust Soup and 20s so I tried to put them on the spot. In the end I thought they held up and I was positive it wasn't delap because of SPL's post so I felt really good about our chances I was just nervous I waited too long to switch back and people weren't going to be around to vote I guess I'm back to voting JHB all next game. Truce has been shattered fgt. |

Honestly, if BK wasn't a prime suspect each of the first two days to the point we were willing to sacrifice him to get rid of the bodyguard I think we could have pulled it off. Also, maybe if I wasn't busy right after work I could have pulled off some magic. Oh well, I was dealt a pretty shitty hand for my first shot at being mafia.

You know who those people are. live gameplay is an entirely different way to play. its just 10000x harder for the mafia to win when you know each other. |

As mentioned in shout, if I were mafia I would've tried to hit someone other than the cop after I stepped forward. The hit on me gave us a lot of confirmed information, whereas taking out another civ would've had the body guard wondering whether my claim was legit and made people less trusting of my intel
