i like the game with fewer roles, that makes it a game of interpreting what people say and do. the more roles there are the more it's a game of utilizing those powers, which is less interesting to me.

I said we need to go through 3 or 4 games with it being smooth before adding new roles.
The counter is at 1 after Game 3.
And honestly, we can explore both. Have vanilla games and then power-role heavy games.

Yeah adding some special mafia roles could balance out the weakness the mafia has because of how we are playing the game. A silencer or consigliere would be useful. Silencer picks a person each night and that person cannot post. Consig picks a person each night and that person appears as a mafia to a cop even if they are not. Keeps the town from being able to coordinate so easily. Especially helpful when you have people like Eric purposefully throwing games Everytime he is mafia.

I think we still need a couple more games to get our feet underneath us before we start doing all of that. Ya, I'm over here faking being a cop to live as a vanilla civ. I don't know what the hell I'm doing and I don't think anyone outside of BK truly does either. I'd rather keep it simple for a few more games before we layer in more roles. |

Forced the cop out Day 2, which was correct gameplay. Prevented mafia from killing eric (BG) and instead targeting the outed cop on night 2, which resulted in a kill on M2. I wouldn't ever outright say I carried the Town to victory in game 3 because I'm a modest guy that doesn't toot my own horn. But one could say that, and anonymous sources say they'd be right. |
