Just an outstanding job from the town. Sorry I was not as involved. Great job everyone.

Town is really fortunate we knocked off like 6-7 straight civs without hitting the cop or bodyguard. Just bad luck on our end.

Thanks dawg. It was risky laying low that long but I felt I was relatively safe.

I will say I thought we did pretty damn well as Mafia, but got unlucky that of the first 6 or 7 civs that were killed, none were the cop or bodyguard.

The place we got really fucked was when SPL and Soup tied at 5 and I was forced to vote SPL.

Thanks dawg. It was risky laying low that long but I felt I was relatively safe. You played really well as the cop. I was convinced it was gbg.

First I wanted to thank Canes and some others for inviting me over to play this game. It was a great experience and I would love to keep playing in the future.
I would say as a first time player that allowing Eric to play in his style is such a disadvantage to the Mafia team. If he's a townsman he's basically someone other civilians know right from the start not to pay any mind to. It also allows civilians later in the game to form groups with Eric to outvote Mafia members who are still trying to play the game. Both those things happened in this game. Eric essentially forces the Mafia to kill him early. And if the town is smart the BG will just protect him till the cop reveals himself. That also happened in this game.
I don't know if this was discussed before or not but Eric style of play shouldn't be allowed to be included moving forward.

You might have been unlucky that you didn't hit the bodyguard, but the cop played you guys

Fecta was the MVP. At no point did anyone of the Mafia suspect him to be the BG. We named a few different people but never sniffed Fecta.

Two things decided this game:
1. Fecta balled out and straight up outplayed the mafia. Easily best cop performance to date.
2. The mafia played incredibly dumb on Day 3

You might have been unlucky that you didn't hit the bodyguard, but the cop played you guys No doubt he played very well. He wasn't high on our list as cop and the things he said had us all in agreement that he was vanilla civ.

You might have been unlucky that you didn't hit the bodyguard, but the cop played you guys Not sure he played us. He only nailed one mafia on his investigation. Town is lucky the role went to a fecta type player. He could play his normal game.

Mafia's two mistakes were eliminating Pete and 20s instead of Eric and even to some extent Delap early and then having TimPig break the tie to save Soup.
If you had sacrificed Soup there, you probably would have won the game.

The place we got really fucked was when SPL and Soup tied at 5 and I was forced to vote SPL. It would have been better if you voted elsewhere and let soup and me go to a sudden death or coin flip. You had better than 50/50 odds. None of the 3 mafia votes on me were going to flip. Instead you outed yourself

You might have been unlucky that you didn't hit the bodyguard, but the cop played you guys We had a couple things go against us. 1) going 6 or 7 straight with no BG or Cop 2) Soup and Tim had similar voting patterns 3) Fecta naming me Mafia out of nowhere and then changing his vote to Soup But ultimately the fact we couldn't sniff Fecta out changed the game.

I asked this morning what we were doing and if we should risk overtime. We were very concerned based on how the day had gone that some last second vote switching was bound to happen.

If you had sacrificed Soup there, you probably would have won the game. I was all about getting Eric out early and mentioned it a multiple times. Ultimately they went in a different direction. You could see early on that you, spl and I think GBG were very pro Eric because you trusted him and I knew that would be a issue down the road.

The worst post of the game:
Fecta: Taco, make your case as to why you're a civ. Taco: Well, what have I even done that makes me look like I'm mafia?

Eric already suspected Tim. Yeah but heebs was suspected as well, that vote confirmed his role. It was just like bankz 2 late votes on soup in round 1 and 2, then a vote to save him in round 3.

I couldnt keep up with everything during the eric/BK situation
but what was eric doing/saying that caused people to say he was/is throwing games?

I was 50/50 on Taco/Delap but leaning Taco until that post. That was the end of the game.

I couldnt keep up with everything during the eric/BK situation but what was eric doing/saying that caused people to say he was/is throwing games? Being consistently forthright with what his assignment is.
