Can't we all just get along and vote for a random vote? We waste a day learning shit. Where's the gameplay in that?

I think it's logical that I don't like my chances if soup is the guy deciding who dies when everyone else wants to vote random. I vote soup to preserve my own life fuck you soup for not going for random kill. The thing is, if you are a civ you shouldn't be worried about your chances, only the towns. No, because I like to fucking play mafia. Sue me. I'm not worried about my chances in a random vote, but soup hates me. As I made obvious in basically every conversation I've had with Eric. I couldn't give a fuck about playing this to win dump bucks, I play this to have fun. Dying day one is the least fun possible.

It's also the same reason why if you are a civilian, you should be willing to roll the dice on a random kill. Not if you despise the idea of random killing and don't think it's in the best interest of the town.

Because the odds are in favor of you, soup, randomly picking a civilian. If you're a civ then there are 3 mafia and 9 civilians out there for you to choose from. You killing one civ in round one ends up with the mafia killing 4 straight civs to start the game, assuming you are a civ and the masses would vote you off if you vote out a civ.

You are correct that random killing has it's flaws, but what you're doing only makes sense if everyone agrees and we can see voting patterns. If everyone else votes randomly and you refuse we still learn nothing except that you're a cunt.

And no I don't hate you.

I want to agree with you GBG but I also see why people could disagree with you.

Also random killing gives you the best chance of knocking out your cop or bodyguard day 1 as a civ.

Any given game Billy has the same odds of being BG or cop as everyone else; so if we just vote out billy every first round we have the same odds of killing the cop/bg as we would if we allow the random kill.

If you are a vanilla civ and break the tie, you are actually increasing the odds we randomly kill the cop or BG for the same reason you increase the odds we kill a mafia.

If you are a vanilla civ and break the tie, you are actually increasing the odds we randomly kill the cop or BG for the same reason you increase the odds we kill a mafia. Actually this makes sense. And there are 3 mafia and only two town power roles. Unfortunately, no one knows if the guy that breaks the tie is town or not.

If you are a vanilla civ and break the tie, you are actually increasing the odds we randomly kill the cop or BG for the same reason you increase the odds we kill a mafia. So what you are saying is we should do random vote and then the cop or BG should break the tie
