Our only chance that last night was the bodyguard forgot to send his night move and we took out SPL before he shared his info bodyguard was slacking this game so it wasn't a bad idea

Who did Heebs hit to get killed? Who do you think? I assumed SPL but I was wondering if Pete got cute and chose someone random to try and snipe the last mafia

Why the heck did SPL kill me? That's ridiculous. You came at me and he probably knew I was a civilian That was 2 days previous though. I had been firmly team no execution since then. It makes no sense.

pete did some great work thinking out the endgame. i didn't check his showboating globetrotter algebra but it was great work anyway.
i also feel herb played it well as can be expected considering the hand he was dealt.
if you had told me before we started mafia that 70% of bankz' votes would be for soup i would have called you a liar because it's not 100%
it really baffles me why civilians push for the all way tie on day one. either way you're probably going to kill a civilian, but letting votes happen organically can give you useful information you can use in the future, and if you're lucky you can get a two-mafia scenario like we did with spl-billy in game three.
it also really baffles me why people think voting for an unconfirmed civilian is suspicious. we've seen over and over that civilians will vote for unconfirmed civilians, and we should expect that. the giveaways we've seen so far are when people vote to SAVE someone who turns out to be mafia.
anyway, i thought it was a good game after the various day one foolishnesses.

I thought SPL had investigated Soup, Bankz, and Pete. I really didn't want to hit Soup because I was trying to keep him around as long as possible to keep fishing for the "Soup played us all day 1!" strategy.

It's because you were one of the few that he hadn't investigated yet. I don't think he put a ton of thought into which of the non-investigated people to vote for since Pete pointed out that they couldn't lose as long as he executed someone that wasn't confirmed civ.

I was getting frustrated that SPL wouldn't reveal the names he had once I showed that it didn't matter. If the no execution strategy lingered a little longer I was going to out myself as the bodyguard

If the no execution strategy lingered a little longer I was going to out myself as the bodyguard I'm pretty sure he investigated Fecta the night Fecta was whacked. He didn't want to say that these two guys are confirmed civs when one of the confirmed civs was his body guard.

sorry but I thought if I named people, it would give the mafia a list of people to hit. I did not want them to have any information.

How pissed was heebs and 20s that BK talked himself into being voted off day 1? It was actually hilarious. Calm strategy discussion in the chat, and then Billy immediately ruined everything. Basically this: I haven't laughed this hard in a long time.

You obviously don't tell us when you find out who your BG is. You just name him a civ. in my experience playing on the mafia side. Once people are confirmed civs, they would now become targets for hits by the mafia. If the individual is not going to be questioned by the town mob, why keep him around? Especially when I knew my BG was Pete, he would be an instant target because on top of him being a confirmed civ, he is a very vocal civ that keep things organized.
I did not mention my finding the BG by accident, I did it on purpose along with my last line of them staying in the back ground. I was hoping that I could mislead the mafia to vote out timpig or another silent member of the crowd and to stay away from pete.

Pete has never been that vocal in this game. Game 1 he was, game 2 I think I voted him out 1st. Game 3 I think he was the cop and had to lay low and game 4 he was hit early again.
