i intended on switching once I saw you come forward as the cop since I figured you were either telling the truth or the real cop would eventually out you, but I spent most of the afternoon working on a very time sensitive project

It would be extremely risky and foolish for the town to take a chance on killing the cop like that with the bodyguard still alive. It doesn't read like a town move even if you were suspicious of me.
That combined with the fact you are still in the game makes me think you're our best bet right now unless someone brings better reasoning for someone else.

So in the last OT - no one changed votes.
We now know odin was a civ. So if canes was mafia and any mafia were on canes, they would have switched to odin.
---This makes me think either canes isn't mafia (means mafia is made up of 2 of pete, fecta, duc) OR canes is mafia and no other mafia members were on canes (means mafia is canes and duc).

Duc is in both scenarios so if we vote him, the only way the game ends this round is if the mafia combo is pete and fecta. Fecta just willingly bandwagoned pete to a 2-0 vote lead. I don't think they are the combo.

However if duc was mafia and canes was the partner, you would think he would have switched to odin to guarantee canes didn't lose the coin flip

They could avoid the risk of exposure by standing pat and letting RNG decide. If Canes dies, they'd be a little worse off but might be worth avoiding the suspicion if we lynched Canes the next day. |

If he is mafia, he's not participating in their group PM. I think the mafia would have been more active than that. Makes me think he is a civ.
If they had been texting with him, they would have texted him to get a vote in last round
This isn't iron clad logic, but it's something and that might be enough to rule him out in this game where I feel like there is little concrete info at this point.

And was likely here for the night moves. If canes was mafia and odin wasn't, I feel like duc would have voted odin. Makes me think neither is mafia and it didn't matter. I get what you were saying earlier but I think in this case they would have made the move. Difference between 2 vs 4 and 1 vs 5 is pretty big to leave up to RNG.

Canes and fecta Pete and fecta I'm scratching delap based on his inactivity and absence during important mafia times (could be faulty logic but its enough for now) I don't think pete and fecta are the combo because of fecta's willingness to bandwagon vote pete and bring him into a 2-0 lead from a 1-1 tie this round. I think it is pretty unlikely that duc is mafia with canes as I think he would have moved his vote to odin in OT. However, if he actually was gone like he claims, that could explain it. But proboards says he was online during OT. Canes and pete and canes and fecta seem unlikely as they were both on him last round in OT and both came out pushing for him again this round. It could be a wise move by one of them to play it like that, but if that is the case, might just have to tip my hat. That leaves me with Duc and pete and duc and fecta as the two possible mafia combos. Duc is in both of them and the one I scratched out that I am least confident about is Duc and Canes (could still see that one). Duc is the common denominator in all of those combos. My vote is already on duc but I'm comfortable keeping it there after doing this. |
