delap he has been too quiet the last couple games and it has made it difficult having him alive at the end

I disagree. Voting out the person who is least helpful to the town, even if they're a civ, isn't a bad strategy.
Also requiring people to explain themselves gives you more information later on in the game and doesn't allow mafia to sneak in a vote for their teammates to gain credibility later as easily.

There has been far too many games where we get down to the wire and someone who is barely playing is left and you can't get a read on them and it nearly blows the game for the town.
Voting smart and eliminating free riders instead of posting a random list early helps combat that.

I've explained that I'm not going through any extra measures to prove my random votes validity since people could potentially just randomize a list until they got who they wanted to vote for. The townspeople just need to take every vote, random or not, with a grain of salt and skepticism. |
