Actually let me correct this: The Barman has the ability to negate someones power, so maybe he used his power on Bankz ( maybe the bodyguard?) who was trying to protect Soup and since he had no power he couldnt protect him and they were both killed. Why would they both die though? |

Actually let me correct this: The Barman has the ability to negate someones power, so maybe he used his power on Bankz ( maybe the bodyguard?) who was trying to protect Soup and since he had no power he couldnt protect him and they were both killed. I guess I don't fully understand the negation aspect, but I'd think that the bodyguard's "entire" role would be negated...i.e. he wouldn't even be able to request to protect someone. |

Bankz death could be a toaster (mafia hit man). I feel that is a role that they would not keep secret. Another role that I have seen is a sniper, sniper has 1 bullet to use and he is alligned with the civs. Not sure if the sniper wanted to use his 1 bullet on day 1. I could see that being a secret role as it adds a twist. Also, didn't soup say something about a 2nd vote, did he maybe misunderstand something with his secret role? Maybe he was a kamikazee (typically a role with the mafia side) but on the civ side that when he dies he can take 1 person with him?
I am just spit balling ideas on what it could have been, not sure.

The only reason I would say protect me is because I think I'm a good voice to have on town, especially if people know they can trust I'm a civ.
But if we let the bodyguard roam, we could get lucky and get the Donbot with an unexpected guard kill.
I think the bodyguard should make the decision independent of town's judgment. That way mafia don't know whether I'm protected or not.

So, with my logic and understanding of the rules he tried to protect soup, so he died but since his power was negated then Soup also died. Im just spitballing here. The vigilante makes more sense if that is actually a thing though. |

Probably not. Usually the vigilante has a limited number of kills, but since it appears to be secret who knows.
