I think Pete and I did a good job of acting like townies.

We needed the doctor to flip to have a chance. The people pushing for all roles to be revealed after we already outed some of us as mafia by having a civ pool that big was dumb That was a mistake we made all saying vanilla civ before the power roles (specifically dr j) revealed himself So good job there too JHB as you kept harping on everyone to reveal their roles Also, when you, Pete, and Fecta all claimed Vanilla Civ I had to jump in there to hopefully just muddy the water among the vanilla civs some more.

We were going to have soup revive a civ/power role to further cement his credibility if we couldn't lock it up on Day 2. I doubt you guys were gonna lynch verified Dr J who just revived a civ (or power civ)

I also didn't realize how close we were to a mafia win until JHB showed that the numbers were tight if they didn't get mafia on the day 2 lynch kill. We were expecting Soup would have to last a while as you picked the remaining ones off, then you gave us the blueprint to get it done quickly This is JHB's biggest flaw. Sometimes he says things without thinking about whether these things will help or hurt the town's cause.

It was well played by the mafia, I will give you guys that. Especially 20s.
I really didn't want to have to be put in the position I was. I chose wrong.

Basically, soup won us the game and JHB lost the town the game.
Soup had his choice of who won the game and JHB was a dick and pissed him off

Also, I think the strategy of everyone revealing their roles and cheesing the game kind of defeats the purpose.

We were shitting our pants when soup came up with the "everyone state their roles" plan. Basically had no shot at that point.

Also, I think the strategy of everyone revealing their roles and cheesing the game kind of defeats the purpose. It definitely did. But it was the smart play with our rules. Was just too many roles.

Basically, soup won us the game and JHB lost the town the game. Soup had his choice of who won the game and JHB was a dick and pissed him off I literally asked a few questions to make sure I understood all the scenarios and soup lost his mind and started telling me to shut the fuck up. At that point I responded to him and called him out on his insecure bullshit. I was a dick but in response to soup being a dick.

I'm not saying it was unprompted, it's just what gave him a reason to make the switch. And pushing for everyone to reveal their roles when all the mafia were already in the vanilla civ pool. And then whiffing on two bullets. And then bringing it to our attention that we would win if a civ was lynched on Day 2 with 2 night kills so pete and soup just forced the majority.

mentioned this in one of the early games, but one of the things that makes remote playing a lot harder than in person is you can't rely on everyone being present to respond to something. especially with short days like we had in this game the right move can not work just because people weren't around to react to it. I want to thank Soup for making this happen. And JHB for also making it happen in multiple ways (whiffing on his bullets and pissing off soup by being combative in the thread) can we all have a hearty lol at the idea that soup of all people would get pissed off at someone ELSE being combative?

I had already gotten the pm and ignored it. Even confirming with odin that they couldn't offer it to anyone else. Then you laid out your blue print revealing all the ways mafia could get out of the situation. I was still on board. I even went as far as to saying I could protect myself night 2. I couldn't, I protected myself night one. Then you went and asked odin to clarify my role even though I had already done so just drawing more attention to it. I then got a follow message saying just the right thing for me to flip.

I didn't have that information that all mafia were already in civ pool. Based on what I knew, there was still one power role and potentially two mafia left. Whiffing on the bullets gave us the info we needed to still win, which I'd established. We could have still won having given that info if the guys I'd tagged had been around to flip back because then the late switches from Pete and Soup would have outed you guys. We lost because soup is petty and insecure. It's that simple. I went along with his plan but not the way he wanted because I wanted to confirm that I understood the rules of the game and the roles, so he flipped the game to spite me. It's childish as fuck.

What the hell harm does it do that I asked if you could protect yourself if you could...
It doesn't. Someone questioned you, and your insecurity got the best of you.

Just because killing two Civs with the bullets didnt mean we won for sure, it opened the door for us. We likely weren't winning any other way.

Getting a confirmation from Odin shouldn't be a big deal, considering traditional bodyguards can't protect themselves, and I don't think normal doctors can heal themselves.

All the bad choices and actions when combined definitely lost the game.
You can try to say soup lost you the game because he definitely won it for the cheesers by flipping, but he had won the game and had left the cheesers with no chance by bringing up the role reveal strategy to begin with. And we still couldn't have pulled it off without your help.

Soup, you do this childish stuff all the time and frankly I'm tired of it. I asked for a rules clarification and you lost your mind and flipped teams and lost us the game when you had confirmed you were my teammate and we could still win the game. I think that's a childish move. Sorry that hurts your feelings.
I was played by 20s, I give him credit. I wanted to kill him and Pete off but he had done a lot to gain credibility in my eyes so I switched to billy and Majic.
I played a part in losing us the game.
But Soup, you are a childish, petty, insecure bitch and frankly I'm tired of playing this game with you because of that. I just want you to be aware of it.
