I'm thinking that with his "kudos to you" on GBG's post, Tim is the Jester.

you do this later in the game. when it makes sense. It doesn't make sense to go super sleuth right now because all it does is give players like bankz and heebs conspiracy tangents to go on that end up fucking over the town in the long run. It's way out of character for someone who is a good player so it makes you suspicious. But I've always done this so either I am, by definition, not a good player, or you are just scrambling to cover your tracks and trying to shift culpability back on to me with some non-sense argument against calling out patterns of behavior in the game (which, if you haven't noticed, IS THE GAME). I don't know if you've noticed but in past games, we haven't all just sit around and not pointed fingers in the hopes of not making potentially false accusations and then hope around Day 4 everything just falls into place. You develop a hunch, work it, move to the next one with new evidence. You'll notice I haven't cast a vote in your favor or influenced anyone else, I'm just noting something you did has been a pro-mafia tell in the past. The fact that you didn't just let it slide is pretty questionable. so I responded to you which is suspicious. If I had let it go you would have said ignoring it was suspicious. You can read into absolutely everything in this game. And I have never said that reading into actions was a bad way to play the game. I said that going deep into it in round 1 is a bad way to play the game because all it does is give the players who love to create crazy links ammo to start killing civs for no reason. The perfect mafia play for round 1 is to get guys like bankz and heebs on the trail of civs which would give the mafia plenty of early cover. Having said all that, I will say that this would be the game for us to no vote as townies considering the chance that we have potentially up to 6 people with investigative abilities depending on how the town randoms ended up being assigned. However, this makes a lot of sense and should be thoroughly discussed in the last 80 min we got

I'm thinking that with his "kudos to you" on GBG's post, Tim is the Jester. Keep in mind that it would be beneficial for a mafia member to try to portray a jester in order to discourage the town from voting them off.

Haha Im taking advantage of being the one who decides whether to admin kill or not :) I'll make sure not to like anything that would effect the game.

To Soup/Heebs,
I just meant that the civs have a lot of investigative power since with four town randoms (maybe only three...I can't remember if the count was four before or after BK adjusted for being two short) there are at least two and up to six (or five if my count on randos was wrong) people who can make investigations.
That means we could find out a lot about who is aligned where before we vote everyone off.
The only problem is there are two obvious downsides. Mainly, that the Godfather and deceiver can skew the results of some of our investigations...so basically we'd just be looking to find the third mafia member. And again, the other downside is that third mafia member also has investigative ability so they could pose as the cop or sheriff if no one is able to peg them.

Wouldn't the jester not come forward to expose someone else though since they want to get voted out?

The town doesn't want to vote him off because if he goes, another random townie who voted for him goes as well.

I would urge any civilians who are power roles that involve visiting another player not to do so to me. I am a town veteran and my plan is to go on alert the first three nights so anyone who would visit me would be killed.
Deceiver and mafia and any neutral evils are free to come on over.

Okay guys we have two problems.
1: I went home from work and found out the internet is down. I'm now at Walmart using their WiFi on my phone.
2: I cant lock the thread.
I will read back and answer any questions that have been asked. The day is over at 6 pm EST (about 5 minutes from now).
Please refrain from posting after the cutoff as I cannot lock the thread.
Thank you.
