I think there's a deeper strategy to a lot of these roles that we didn't really get into much last game. I doubt future games will be as straightforward

I feel like BK is getting unfairly shat upon for giving us a much improved version of mafia. I don't expect BK to write a multi-page rule book for us on each class. I don't mind learning as we go. Actually I've thought about this a lot and that's honestly how most people start playing. When I learned I just played these mafia games and figured out what it meant when it said someone was riddled with bullets. It's part of the game. I can see why people want it spelled out though. |

He had two mess ups, well three if you count some PM responses to me, as far as I'm concerned. He probably should have said that, "a member of the game wanted me to clarify that the same player can not perform two moves in one night period" rather than saying that Odin wanted me to tell the game thread that you can't perform two moves with the same player in one night period. He also should have let JHB know that he was roleblocked night one. |

The PM to me just had mistaken verbage. He was mixing up civilian and citizen which then cause me to do the same thing in the game thread.

It made our game almost impossible. every 20 minutes he would further explain something that would send us back to the drawing board making it so we stuck out like a sore thumb. I mean you guys were able to find soup without investigating him, without him doing anything really that suspicious, and with him being the first to turn on both of his fellow mafia. that's way too easy. |

I'm not sure that he said anything in the thread before BK posted that, but he may responded to BK's post. Outing Odin was a huge swing towards the town. I mean I get it happens. Running a game is a lot harder than you think, but these things got to be cleaned up if we are going to get an even game in the future |

Ok, I just double-checked and I was wrong.
I think all Odin said was something like "BK sucks at this".
And BK went on to say that Odin wanted it revealed that two night actions can't be performed or whatever.

That can happen any game that has a cop, sheriff, or investigator. |

I agree he is getting unfairly shit on, but what makes this a much improved version? It's different, a much more straight forward game strategically once the roles are understood. It's more deductive than inductive reasoning. I like both, but feel like the more straight forward game is better for this group. |

We didn't take him at face value, but we should have been confident he wasn't mafia since no one else came forward to claim they were attacked by the mafia. We knew that at least one of you two were lying. Turned out that both of you were lying. |

I didn't really take Pete at his word on the survivor thing, I just didn't want to draw attention away from you by creating a potential 2nd target since I was 100% sure you were mafia since day 1.
