Each turn he will have a 10% chance of stabilizing, and will otherwise lose one HP. If stable he will gain one HP per turn until he gets back to positive HP. His teammates can attempt to make a DC 15 Heal check to stabilize him or use healing magic to get him directly to positive HP. If at any point he reaches -10 HP he will be dead. Pete carries the momentum of his swing into an attack on SPL! pete rolls 12 + 8 against 16 AC: hit! A gouge to the shoulder for 7 damage! . round five complete, here is the turn order and status for round six: fecta - DEAD spl - 20 damage, looks pretty sturdy herb - 0 damage. With my club in my right hand resting on my right shoulder I point to a pretty lady in the stands with my left hand. Placing my left hand on the club I swing up at Duc's head, hoping to send it flying to my adoring fans in the arena stands.

i might do a shocking touch kind of cantrip, i'm probably not gonna do infinite ranged attacks though, even for piddly damage.
we'll have a longer discussion in the post mortem though
