Ok OotP. We have a choice.
Fecta could be telling the truth and he's pretty benign as Malfoy.
But he could be lying. If he is lying, it's most likely because he is the arsonist and wants to live longer before lighting his fire. He could also be mafia, but that would be a really bad play as all it would take is for the second benign to come out an announce.
Fecta said "Ill put up the pink slip to my broom that there is no Greyback."
Notice that he said "there is no Greyback" and not "that I am Malfoy." This is classic herb stream of conscious, and probably a big nothing burger, but I found it interesting.

I like the way you are thinking Heebs. We know Fecta really has no utility if we keep him around but he could really hurt us if he is using his cover as Malfoy to be an arsonist.
The downside far outweighs the benefit of keeping him alive.

Chances are you're Malfoy. But I fucking hate Malfoy. If my daughter ever found out I had a chance to kill Malfoy and didn't take it, she'd be upset.
