in order of 1-4 in my mind.
Simpsons by far 1.
The Wire is 2.
Mad Men is 3.
GoT is 4.
The fact that the Simpsons is so far behind is that I assume I'm older than all of you and you've not gone back to watch the first 10 seasons. It is the closest thing to Shakespeare that we have had in TV. It's comedy for all people.

Not saying it isn't entertaining... but the acting, story, continuity, scripts, etc. all have serious flaws.
You can like watching a lot, but it doesn't mean it is an amazing TV show. Does that make sense?
