Hey guys, This is my 1st Annual GM Analysis Article

I will be analyzing myself for this first article. Since my history is relatively short -- I can analyze every trade I've made going back to when I had control of the Pacers. I will give them a grade and then look at the overall score at the end. Let me know what you think in the comments below.

Is BK really as bad a GM as you say?

Perhaps my worst trade, but it made sense for my team at the time. Ewing was expiring and I had to trade him and begin the tank, this was the best offer on the board. Nothing great came out of either of those picks. OG turned out to be a serviceable forward in the league.

Here I flip a HOFer for dump bucks. I was tanking, but still. Not my best move. I'd give myself a C, but this trade happened while I was being berated in shout by SugarShaun of the Dead on how him offering me 50 dump bucks for Korver was more than enough and I was a terrible person/idiot for not accepting the offer. Pretty sure Herb Simon only made this offer to piss him off.

Controversial deal at the time. Thread link included for your pleasure, watch as GM after GM goes off about how stupid ANK1990 is here. Guess it worked out for him, didn't it? Up until about 4 days ago this trade would've been a solid D for me, but Anthony Mason has looked absolutely stellar in preseason and backed it up through Sim 3 so far. Shooting 50%+ for the Spurs this year.

One of my trades that I look back on and regret. OG ended up being a good forward while bouncing around the league. I wouldn't of dumped him if I hadn't been led to believe his contract was "so horrible". Trading him led me to winning less games though -- my favorite excuse for all my losing trades thus far -- and therefore it can't be all bad.

This is it guys, this is where I'm not tanking anymore and you can officially start making fun of me for losing. This trade might come back to haunt me, but so far it's given me everything I've needed. Cheick Diallo C 16 35.5 8.4 13.2 1.4 0.6 2.8 1.5 .376 .625 .000 is an absolute hoss for me at PF and is on a great deal. Porter has been decent in limited minutes and the SPL bucks went to upgrading Grant Long. *fingers crossed* that Anthony Mason doesn't become elite.

The single most exciting trade of my tenure here. As you are probably unfortunately aware, Estaban Weaver went down with an injury taking him out over half of the season. I pick up a backup PG/SG with starting experience that can shoot at nearly average efficiency and play good defense. Hard to grade this one as there hasn't been a sim since getting Gates, but Horford didn't play a minute for me and that pick is probably shit.

As you can see, BK is not the "Worst GM Ever", he is actually one of the better GMs in the league.

Trading for dump bucks shouldn't = anything more than a B grade. It's pretty neutral.

My last 14 trades were all taking small contracts for dump bucks, Overall A grade GM. Great grading rubric.
