helped the mafia's cause that heebs and fecta barely said shit to each other and weren't active at all, after jhb flipped i knew it was game over b/c bk and odin kept going after one another and were the only real vocal members of the town until bankz started being more active on day 3 or 4 i forget which I was the only active member of the town till Tim showed up on day 3. I thought BK had flipped at first. But after he turned into a veggie I started leaning that it would be a strong member of the town. I thought 20s flipped but it was JHB another traditionally strong town player. JHB would also fit into the easily swayed category a man with no honor type. I hate post 5 eastern PM deadlines. Pretty much any deadline when I'm not at the office isn't ideal for me. |

I was torn between 20s and Soup for my night one investigation.
Things may play out differently if I had chosen Soup.
I did overplay my hands about 20s because I felt my day 1 investigation would come back as pure as possible.
Really didn't think I would hit on Mafia boss. It wasn't till 20s asked for protection did I think he was either godfather or switched.
And its why I was hesitant to reveal my info. unfortunately the legit town members were largely inactive and unhelpful.
I'm glad I did read the game well. I nailed all three of my investigations. I was going to investigate JHB had I made it to the night.
Again GG Mafia well earned victory. Good luck moving forward gents.

Well this isn’t true. Unless you count naming of 8 people and half of them are mafia. Feel like anyone could do that. You always say this shit and it's always dumb. Of course who I think is mafia changes throughout the game. I was spamming 20s JHB canes for the last 2 days and led the obvious charge on Pete. You didn't lead shit against pete you idiot. Yeah I will agree that any set-up that puts the town's back against the wall on day 2 is flawed. Same issue w/ the first LOTR game, the mafia is at a huge advantage when they can make a play to win the game w/ only one night's worth of moves to help the town.

Hesitant to reveal your investigations is one thing. Outing yourself as cop then being hesistant is sketchy as fuck. no win situation based on the info I had. I needed to come out so people would start sharing roles. But I had nothing of substance to share. I knew once Canes came back clean and 20s wouldn't answer my information was bad. My only hope was to catch the lies. I also was going to investigate Heebs night 3... things may have slightly changed but its tough having inactive teammates and bad info sent to you. |

There isn't a lot of strategy involved with buddy cop. It gives us credibility if we come out together. The biggest utility I saw was that once one of us died, we had access to dead civ thread. Therefore I laid as low as possible. |
