The night we killed Majic, we role blocked him, thinking he was the bus driver because we forgot to account for the JHB and majic swap the night we had druce investigate majic. It told us he was the bus driver, so we blocked Majic thinking we would kill Pete, but he was actually the lookout and he got swapped with Pete that evening. I sent Soup like 4 different choices that night before finally settling on that swap. Not mad about what I landed on.

Mass Murderer is night immune. I don't get why you would watch your own house then. Just losing out on a guaranteed kill every night you don't visit someone else. If someone visits your house and he’s not there, he wouldnt kill them.

I was hoping it wouldn't be clear that a MM was in the game. Gotcha. It's basically impossible to win as MM so it wouldn't have mattered.

That was by far the cleanest game we've run in awhile. Good work Soup-a-loop

We had two clear slip ups. First we forgot to account for the bussing of Pete and Majic when we decided to target Pete, and two, we should have tried to pin Timpig as the bus flip with me on the night we killed JHB instead of Heebs. Don't know if it would have mattered, but those were two clear mistakes. It was also pretty unfortunate that the Mass Murderer targeted Odin on night 1. #2 didn't matter. I knew jhb wasn't going to bus two random people

generally speaking the Lookout power was sort of useless since i wasnt told anyones power, only who visited.
Night 1 i watched BK, and was told JHB and 20s visited him. Soup briefly messed up and forgot to tell me Pete, hence why i was so suspicious of him for a minute when he said he was bused
Night 2 I watched Pete and saw that 20s visited him
Night 3 I was blocked and killed
with so many roles that could visit or do different things it was impossible to deduce much

Sorry if I overly complicated things. I was pretty sure it was going to be 20s and GBG on the 2nd to last day, but I was trying to find insurance in case Canes and/or SPL were lying.

You were considering all possible scenarios which is what a good mafia player should do. In this case, it just gave an audience to our alternate scenarios we were tossing out. You still came to the right conclusion.

The lame part about mafia is TimPig and rv get a win for that game while druce, myself and gbg worked our asses off and get a loss.

Take for example, on night 2, if Pete would have died. You would know that 20s was the hitman. Or lets say that someone had an action and you saw it happen, you could help piece things together for the town on who was involved.

I like the idea of the Game Runner doing a subjective power ranking at the end of a game
Ranking how everyone played since they can see all the discussions and decisions

@rv come in and explain why you didn't announce your role before getting lynched. you me and jhb could have won this game quickly if you had done so

Yeah that was one of the dumbest moves I've ever seen in mafia.
Even if there hadn't been a bus driver to protect you, having the mafia kill you at night is better than you getting lynched

this was a really fun game. Also underscored the benefits of having role randomization and less information given for role interactions. I think this game was a lot more challenging to fit the pieces together than others because there was so much less certainty

20s did a really good job of introducing confusion. It was impressive.
Canes was the MVP of the game. And to think we almost lynched him early on.
I, too, couldn't believe rv went down without so much as revealing his role. It wasn't like we suspected him - we just voted him up because he was inactive. I feel like if he said he was the BG, enough people would have switched off to Tim or another target.
As has been said, Soup ran a tight ship. Deadlines, majority timers, night moves - all on point. From my view he also didn't make an mechanical errors in how actions interacted.
My only complaint is that the lawyer needs to be mafia role.

The only thing that would have resulted in a loss is falling for the confusion from 20s. It was a strategic decision to be a bit more heated with the other players than I normally am.

was this an actual thing or are you just trolling It's a real thing but currently doesn't have enough inputs to be useful. I'm gonna work on it though. You're a great test subject because you're in basically every game and talk a lot. Im just doing timestamp, post number and word count so far. SoonI'll just give it the actual words and let it figure out the patterns unsupervised
