the thing with ericlytics is they say how much a player's production is worth
that's all 1s and 0s, i've got that on lock, and you ignore that at your own peril
but tmbsl like real life is a game of getting more worth than you pay for in salary
and because we are all human bidders with human fingers figuring that out is a sociological game
that is something at which i am not good
as herb notes this is exacerbated by my avoision of first round contracts
sometimes i'll find a guy whom no one has noticed at all (e.g. butch lee for one first) but those guys don't always pan out (e.g. tariq abdul-wahad for free)
