So my wife and I've been stashing all of our amazon boxes in my office and my SS gift was put there. Not sure how long I've had it.
On Saturday I took the kids to my 7 year old's basketball game and then out for lunch. While we were out of the house my wife wrapped a bunch of presents.
Saturday afternoon I got an earful from my wife for being so difficult to buy for and how I don't have any patience of self control. I was like, "what is this about?" She tells me how she found the game and D&D book I ordered for myself and she went ahead and wrapped them up as gifts from her to me. We both got a kick out of that.
I played Terraforming Mars that night and have been reading the Curse of Strahd book. I think I'm going to segue way my current campaign into Barovia on Wednesday.

I played Curse of Strahd, I really enjoyed it. Just have your characters get enveloped by a mysterious mist and off you go! I decided to spend more time with the book before they wind up in Barovia. But tomorrow night they will encounter a strange old lady on a forest path and soon after a mysterious mist is going to begin forming around them. Maybe the next session or the session after that they will be consumed by the mist and transported to Barovia. I'm going to let them keep their level (6) and items. There are only 3 of them so I think it'll be plenty challenging. |

Got home from Delaware and had a package notification for something my dad sent me. To my surprise (and to the confusion of the front desk person), there was another package waiting for me, although something about the name seemed off... In it I found an embarrassment of riches. First, a nice reminder of a trade I'd love to forget:  Can't wait to trade this to @buster5000 for 3 futures Next, something that is already bugging my girlfriend  South Carolina fidget spinner! Then, something for me to wear to the a game next year watching the 2018 NL East champions here in DC:  okay....maybe 2019 And lastly, something that appeals to the ultra lazy side of me  I got a google home for Christmas as well so this works perfectly! Thanks Druce, this was an awesome gift! I'm psyched for the Phillies gear, that's the least represented team in my wardrobe currently. |
