Western Conference- Oh look, the top five teams in the West are all heavily dependent on Spurs castoffs. Hmm… - The Jazz are going to make it six Western Conference champions in a row this season. Sorry, Delap/Eric/everyone else. Utah Jazz- Thank God for SPL that he didn’t find a third party who could make LeBron-for-SPL happen. - This team has one more year before they hand over the reins of the Western Conference. Probably back to the Spurs. - Rory is the best wing in the league. Better than Bleal. Portland Trailblazers- “I’m going to tank. Actually, I think I’ll acquire a top tier SF and legit D/R big from the Spurs,” and that’s all it took to go from out of the playoffs to the two seed. Thanks, Spurs. You’re welcome. -The Spurs - Rookie “Sugar” Shaun Richards reportedly upset at the nepotism going on in Portland as he’s received 0 minutes while the very average Jon-Michael Majkut racks up the minutes playing pretty meh while out of position. - Don’t eff this up, Majic. Williams is 30 and you’re a SG and some depth away from being legit. Denver Nuggets- You read that right, folks. The Nuggets are the three seed after trading away Ridnour, Chapman, and Jarrett Allen. Work with this, Odin. - JHB reportedly didn’t do his Western Conference hot takes because he knew he’d need to acknowledge how badly he got trade raped by Odin in the Chapman deal. - At 35, Marvin Williams is playing like he’s only 33. Kansas City Kings- Somebody needs to get trade raped by Heebs to acquire DeShaun Watson. - Lonzo is having his best season to date from behind the arc. Great players adjust as they age and lose athleticism, and the GOAT is doing just that. - This Kings team is the most legitimate threat to Jazz dominance in the West in the short term. Seattle SuperSonics
- A perfectly executed offseason added T-Mac and Eric HOFmann. It’s almost like their enigmatic GM had some insider info on what kind of contract to offer and who to draft. - When all of these rookie contracts expire, this team is ****ed. Los Angeles Lakers
- Whoever auto’d Gerald Ford to this team late in the first round must really know wtf they’re doing. - They probably should’ve traded Sean Lavs for LeBron. - Apparently Kina Grannis grew up in Mission Viejo. I’m sure Eric knew this. What I’m less sure about is why he hasn’t jumped on the Western Conference bandwagon because of it. New Orleans Pelicans
- 525 minutes of playing time for a 21-year-old point guard has apparently made 24-year-old triple-double machine Majestic Mapp expendable. - BK, do everything you can to get rid of Josh Jackson. We told you the contract was awful when it was signed, and it looks worse with every sim. - Your offense and defense are both well below average. Probably time to shake things up. Dallas Mavericks
- Remember when everyone called Fecta an idiot for trading Brunson for Tacko? Then the trade was vetoed because of money, and he got called an idiot again for making it work? Oops. Brunson could never defend, and now he can't even score, plus he has one of the worst contracts in TMBSL. - Willie Anderson’s contract is still almost as bad. - Skrouse isn’t all to blame. Tony Gonzalez and Jim Thorpe have been amazing busts. Vancouver Grizzlies
- What happened here? 64 wins and the best record in the West to the ninth seed without major changes? Must be a stacked conference. - Also, Amare, ‘Kwon, and Svi pooping the bed and contributing to the league’s fourth-worst shooting percentage probably isn’t helping. Golden State Warriors
- When will the Trevon Duval experiment end? Dude’s FG% has gone down every year prior to this one, and there’s still time. - Zaza and Patton both started sucking in 3053. What kind of defensive scheme you running down there, Taco? - Trading all of those picks for Chauncey looks pretty now San Diego Clippers
- Glynn Watson isn’t carrying this team. Who would’ve thought? - Watson is, however, probably the only player on this team who has any business starting on any roster. - At least the Clippers still have their draft picks. Phoenix Suns
- Lol “Best”cific. For those who didn’t realize, the Suns are in last in the Pacific and still have Collin Sexton on their roster. - Apparently a supporting cast of Tahj Holden, Adrian McCoy, Jerome Lane, and Ed Gray isn’t enough. This must be how LeBron feels IRL. - People aren’t giving Ank enough shit for how much of Sexton’s career he’s going to waste. Minnesota Timberwolves
- Fason probably did the most unselfish thing he’s ever done (other than bowing to the Suns) by making himself a bad prospect. Poor Ayyoe. It’s a good thing he doesn’t care. - With Herb or HOFmann on this team, they go from worst to a playoff team. - JuJu Smith-Schuster should be traded to a better team who will capitalize on his high potential. San Antonio Spurs
- You all have two seasons. Consider yourself warned.

Tim, I had 2 teams interested in doing a deal but I decided to see how Sean Lavs played in pre-season before moving for him. After I saw preseason I decided to stay where I was.

That suggested DC is fairly close to what I ran at the end of last season, wanted to try and focus on Abe's A+ inside and solid FT % at the start of this year. Like an actual bball strategy, I have never paid close enough attention to know what the software favors. Also, Roosma was very efficient in limited minutes last season, just didn't score much. Brunson's D at the point was atrocious and Roosma had a good AST/TO ratio and wasn't getting destroyed on D in limited time so I played him and slid Brunson to the 2 where he killed it for Utah.

I get the logic, but sadly this software makes very little sense. You were screwing yourself with the DC and attributes you were valuing. So much has changed with the league since the last time you were here. I’d highly suggest reading a couple articles from Eric where he makes the software more understandable. lolwrongtmbsl.proboards.com/thread/7784/attributes-absolute-final-wordlolwrongtmbsl.proboards.com/thread/7200/new-gms-3

I offered a legit deal for Lebron that Heebs vetoed because he didn't feel the Lakers were getting enough in return for Sean Lavs. I also offered a legit deal for Sexton that was rejected by Ank out of hubris. Show us the offers! We want to see the offers! Here was the original trade block: I would like to get Sean Lavs to play with Rory, however, I don't have the assets to get it done other than Rory. If you are interested in getting your hands on the best SF (Lebron), work out a deal in a 3 way to get me Sean Lavs and you can have Lebron at he cost of Sean Lavs and either 1 good future draft pick or 2 later 1st round picks Offered Heebs Reagan, 2 Knicks 1sts and 5000 Dump Bucks for the Lakers GM account for Sean Lavs and he said he would listen to that offer but we didn’t go further because I wanted a commitment from SPL first. Asked SPL if he would be interested in Majerle as part of the deal to know if I would need to send Dan to match salary or if I would need to move him and try to get expiring money (or try to send him to the Lakers). Didn’t respond to PM so I texted also. Told him I would have Lavs and the picks and just needed to figure out about Majerle for matching the salary. He said that he thought Heebs would ask for a ton for Lavs, I told him I’d already reached out and felt good about that. He said he wasn’t interested in Majerle so I said I’d work on expiring and he told me he wanted to wait until after Preseason to see how he looked. I said sure or something along those lines because at this point I knew the deal was dead. I assumed based on the trade block that when you say exactly what you want, that upon being offered that, you accept. I was wrong So in summary, he asked for Lavs and 1 good pick or 2 later picks for LeBron. I offered Lavs and picks and he said let’s wait until after PS then never sent anything else
