3005 Pre-Draft Winners and Losers
WINNERS:
Minnesota Timberwolves
Grade: A-
It worked out perfect for Ianboyd and the Timberwolves this early in the off-season. With the cheap discounts of Shelton and Eaton, the Twolves are in a prime spot to compete in the MidBest and still have the cap room to resign Turnover King Grant Hill. Another TC for Alvin and the Chipmunks could push Minnesota into a top seed in the dominate West. It's been a slow and steady rebuild for the korean mongoose Boyd lets see if his future still reads title contender post TC.
Los Angeles Lakers
Grade: A-
Moncrief takes less money, it is known. After another game 7 meltdown in the 1st around of the playoffs the Lakers will bring back the same team once again. After Back to Back 60 win seasons for LALol, they poised to have another Pacific Title in hand come 3005.
Miami Heat
Grade: A
Canes finally found his 4.0 Anthony Davis in a very solid trade with the Boston Celtics. He was able to trade away his 3 1st Rounders after signing King to probably the best contract in 4.0. IT looks like the Atlantic Baton has been passed to the Heat in the name of Bob Lanier. The ex MVP was shiped to South Beach in hopes of finally getting the Ring he deserves. Miami's Roster looks outstanding With DJK/King/Truck and now the addition of Lanier.
Oklahoma City Thunder
Grade: A+
Sitting in the 8th seed of the West and relaxing on day 99, the Birthday Boy decides to finally blow up his team and my goodness what a decision that was. Only an hour later JHB is sitting pretty with 10 1st Rounders and a chance to get a top pick pending lotto. Only a couple days later he stikes gold and lands one of the best starting big man in 4.0. At only 19 Boogie has the potential to be an outstanding playe, after TC JHBear could have a Moses Malone type player on his hands.
Philadelphia 76ers
Grade: B+
Fason is on the downslope of his rebuild and is looking impressive thus far in his short stint in the TMBSL. I give him a B+ just based on his Bonus Points going into Air Jordan's passing giving him the oppurtnity to play PG for his career. With many more points to go into Jordan who knows how well he can be. The Celing is so very high for his airness of J and i can't wait to see what the newcomer can do with his talent.
Utah Jazz
Grade: A-
It's been a great season thus far for 2Rings landing the 1.1 odds jumping MJ and getting the 4.0 Norm Nixon type grades. Wall is one of the best prospects next to Magic to be drafted at 1.1. I'm in love with Wall and i think he should be the next best point gaurd next to Skywalker and the other greats that play that position. At the age of 19 he has the oppurtnity to keep his potential or if hes lucky to get even more than what he was. 2poor has really stepped his game in 4.0 and is turning his bad luck into good in only 2 short seasons.
LOSERS:
Orlando Magic
Grade: C+
I think MJ has been jumped 3 years in a row now in the lotto. This year it happened again after winning the #1 odds for the Beast Mode Cowboy John Wall. After selling off everyone last off-season he was able to get where he wantd to go just to watch his team fall once again. The Orlando Franchise is used to the disapointment by now but it made it even worst going from Wall to Monroe in a blink of an eye. 
Los Angeles Clippers
Grade: D
D for Dirt has had everything go wrong since the big playoff series win in 3004. After shipping out the oldmen Pistol and Artis and trading for his futures back he was hook lined and sinkered trading for the young and underacheving Adrien Dantley. With 40 Mil in cap space and hoping to try and get a 3rd guy for Magic and Dantley was all short coming seeing all prime Free Agents re-sign and watching Magic sail away into the Free Agent Pool. With prayers since to the Sim Gods LAC has no choice but to wait another day to see what Magic decides. 
Milwaukee Bucks
Grade: B-
The Bucks decided to trade his 8th Lotto odds for 2 very good players in Jumanji and Foots Socks Walker. Thinking what a solid trade it was turned against him when he realized he just traded away Boogie Cousins. The Jury is still out for Howard and if he can have a solid TC this trade could still end up in his favor. It's not a huge loss but its tough to forget if Cousins goes Beast in his 1st TC.
Boston Celtics
Grade: C+
I'm not sure who is funnier to watch meltdown, Dirt or Dump. The 2 Texas Boys are always out with Guns Blazing early in the off-season. It was no different after another dissapointing loss in the finals . After a few short hours after the loss he was on the phone lines trying to ship out WBF or Lanier. The Atlantic Division rivarly will be alittle more heated come November when MIA threw 3 mid 20s 1st Rounders for Bob Lanier. Its going to nearly impossible for Boston to get back on top of the Division and back to the top of the Eastern Conference.
