Check Postseason Schedule for Deadline info.
Please read the appropriate threads on FA bidding. Too many times in the previous league I received bids saying "3 years, 10 million, 5% increases" which to me is 10 million a year, but you guys were meaning total.
You post the years you're offering, the amount of the 1st year, and then any % increases. (You don't have to do increases)
So example would be:
Joe Silvestri - 5 years, 4 million, 5%
Got it? please follow it. I'm not gonna bother PMing people back asking if they meant total or per year.
NEW RULE ALERT
You are only allowed to send 1 pm per period of FA, any additional pms will be ignored. Remember, FA is not a race, think carefully on who you want to offer before submitting a bid. There is no need to rush
1. Send your bids in alphabetical order by first name
2. Absolutely no more than 15 bids per FA cycle (1-2, 3-4, 5)
3. NO 2 YEAR MINIMUM BIDS
4. If you sign a player that wasn't on your team the previous season to 8+ mil, he can not be traded until after day 60 of the following sim season.
5. If you don't have birds on the player, the most you can offer them is a 2 year deal starting at 120% of the previous season salary with normal increases.
Anyone 29 and over 1 year max is okay
Anyone under 29: 3 year Min for Max
1 year deals to guys under 29 - maximum starting salary of 7 million
2 year deals to guys under 29 - maximum starting salary of 9 million
3+ year deals to guys under 29 - maximum starting salary of 25% of soft cap, 12.5 million
With Birds you can offer whatever you want
When making MAX bids. If you say "Player - MAX" I'll assume you want 6 years for the MAX. People with Birds' MAX is 7 years. Please specify how many years if don't want 7.
If you want to offer MAX, but not for 6 years, you need to say how many years of MAX you're offering. Should be common sense.
After you send your bids, please come post in the thread "Bids Sent" or "No Bids" if you aren't bidding.
