The Wheel: Self-explanatory
13-team unweighted lotto: unweighted lottery that determines the draft position of all 13 teams not qualifying for playoff contention
29-team unweighted lotto: unweighted lottery that determines the draft position of all 29 in the league each season

Wheel then Status Quo
voted status quo because it doesn't appear we have enough support for the Wheel and I am anti-13 team unweighted.

Team none of the above. I don't have a better idea right now but what 20s said in the RT article resonates. We have 2 different competitions each season and takes away from the overall quality of the league. The easiest solution to this problem would be the 13 - unweighted, but this really just eliminates tanking and replaces it with pure luck. That is bs IMO, unless there are rules in place to stop the same team from winning each year. But that would remove the unweighted aspect after the first season. I don't have a good solution for this. The wheel removes the tanking competition and eliminates the majority of the luck but it's boring and lame.
The best idea I've seen in the past to fix the NBA lottery is a weighted lottery that takes into account the results of previous draft positions. But my idea works a little differently. I actually have a little down time today at work (crazy right?) so I'll write up the idea and see if anyone likes it.
