I think the trade sucks, but I disagree with vetoing any trades unless there is collusion. We didn't save pete or others, think wolf should have to learn by dealing with the consequences of making a shitty trade. But it is Odin's call obviously. this is a shit philosophy when it involves 27 other teams.

It's not a matter of being positioned to trade for the player it's a matter of elite talent moving for zero valuable assets

Not to mention transferring the liability of Eddie Jones over on top of marginal assets

The thunder pick is decent but still not enough. It would then be westphal for a late lotto.

The thunder pick is decent but still not enough. It would then be westphal for a late lotto. It is Westphal and the use of his buyout for Manigault, a lotto pick, and a decent OKC 1st. It's not Westphal for a late lotto.

the multiple 2nds proves that it's a terrible deal. That's the classic veteran GM scamming a new GM because they don't know that 2nd's are utterly worthless. We've all been there.

you keep throwing Earl Mangigault's name around like he's suppose to be worth something.

Manigault is not as valuable as you are making him to be. No jump shot and no handles at 165 lbs with a potential drop after one TC.

Earl Manigault could take a 2.0 Dario Saric course of steroids and be a marginal starter in this league

It's display potential. It doesn't mean anything.
Nobody batted an eye when I drafted him top 10 last year, yet he's suddenly worthless as a 17 year old after going +2 in TC?

I don't think he's supposed to be 17 but it's too late to change that now

yes, you seem surprised at that's how it works.
Jack Sikma was drafted in the top 5, at no point after he was drafted was he ever worth close to a 1st again.

Yes it was listed everywhere that he was 17.

Sikma was worth a late 1st after his 3005 season.

Sikma was worth a late 1st after his 3005 season. No Offensively, he was the 6th best center in the league that year. This doesn't even matter.

Offensively, he was the 6th best center in the league that year. This doesn't even matter. He's catfish without the ability to defend or rebound. That's not worth a first.
