An athletic wing who could project at SF or SG on the next level, Brewer is a defensive stopper. His length and athleticism causes all kinds of issues both for his man and by clogging up passing lanes when teams are trying to swing the ball across the perimeter. Brewer has shown a great ability to grab a steal and start the fast break as he can run the floor well. He is turnover prone and earned the nickname "The Drunken Dribbler" from teammates due to his weak ball handling. He is a capable shooter and scorer, but it is not the strength of his game. The team that takes him will know they are getting a great defender and rolling the dice a bit that he develops more offensively.
