But I want to come Heebs! Maybe next year. There are 6 of us that go every year and we have a rotating cast of extras. We've gone with as small a group as 10, and our largest group was 22. We always rent a ridiculous ski-in/out place, bunk up, cook all our meals (including lunch) at the house, and spend about $1300 per person all-in (flight, transactions to/from airport, house, lift tickets, food/beer). Pretty affordable way to ski for a week. |

Gonna be out of town Thursday-Sunday. I'll set my team to advance so whoever is matched up with me can play the comp Weak. You are 1 of my entire 2 user games this year. Let's try and get it in. Week 3 right? I don't think that's gonna happen unless we slow down progress and play the game Sunday night or Monday afternoon |

If we try to go at a frenzied pace of a "week" every 24-48 hours, the league won't last long. If we try and shoot for 2 sims a week, we should be able to make the league last. Making users miss 1/4 of a season because they went out of town for a week spells imminent death |

We'll sim probably every other day, sometimes quicker if everyone gets their games done before. If someone goes out of town for a week (how fucking often does this happen?) we're not going to stop everyone else just for them. There's 17 weeks in a season plus 5 (4) weeks in the playoffs. Bruns and I have run NCAA dynasties that have gone 10+ seasons at this pace. Advancing twice a week is going way too slow and will cause this thing to die in a hurry. Not to mention the fact that pretty much everyone is in a division by themselves. If you don't make the playoffs you probably suck anyway. |
