Bankz 3014 Big Board
1. Keaney ~ Lets start this with a bang. A cpu generated prospect is my [HASH]1 player in this class. Rv wet dream come true. Ian was in shout claiming Keaney would be a 2nd round pick I don't see him getting past the top 4 of the lotto. I'm in love with that A- Inside game and he isn't lacking in the other important cats with C+ outside and B- defense.
2. Martin ~ One of the more developed players in the draft. Considering the majority of this class is filled with B and C potential guys I'm going to go with Odin's way of thinking and draft the guy with the best grades, fuck potential. With that said Kenyon is looking better then Frank the Tank and Cliff Alexander both productive rookies in the league right now.
3. McCall ~ Some will point to Chalky and say stay away. I on the other hand have been recently burned by not choosing Delon Wright who looked a lot like McCall does now coming into the league. He's the best scoring and handles PG in the draft and seems to have a ton of talent. I guess the question is will he be Chalky 2.0 or the next great point guard of the league?
4. Mihm ~ Mihm was one of the few elite big man in 2.0 and a favorite of the the current GM who holds top odds in the lottery. He is on record as saying Mihm is his guy. I don't have a strong argument against him going [HASH]1. And if Ian lands the pick you better believe he is going off the board 1st. To me he looks like Cliff Alexander with blocking ability. Just a solid big man.
5. Fizer ~ The best scoring big man in the league. I hate him with a fucking passion. I never forget that busty motherfucker. With that said I'm sure he will be elite in this league and someone is going to get a steal.
6. Douglas ~ Douglas could be a bit high on my board. He comes into the league with a elite skill and should be able to be a defensive force right from the start. 6'10 and 250+ he should have the size to hold his own and be at worst a quality big man in any rotation. The only fear with Douglas is him being a computer generated rookie.
7. Swift ~ Swift is the only other A potential player to crack my top 10. His defensive grades look solid. I have ranked as the 2nd best defensive PF in the draft. He was a huge let down in 2.0 and never lived up to the potential or hype he was given. I'm not sure the upside on Swift and so I have him ranked below the more developed bigs with less potential shown. Going to need to hit the gym and get some pounds onto that frame.
8. Ahye ~ Paul and Keaney don't have much separating the two. Ahye is more of a defender with his B+ defense but has a more balanced offensive scoring set of grades. I like that both Ahye and Keaney have a plus grade coming into the league. Another computer generated rookie in my top 10 i'm really rolling the dice on these guys being good or Odin tweaking them to be good because this class could really use productive computer generated rookies.
9. Benjamin ~ I'm not done with the computer generated players in my top 10. Benjamin is a tall drink of water but needs to a Big Mac or two.. could a position switch produce a hidden gem? If not Benjamin is going to need some TLC to make a impact in the league.
10. Murray ~ Murray is my Niang of the 3014 class. He has two elite grades with A- handles and A- defense for a incoming rookie. His scoring grades do present some question marks but once again i'm going with Odin and fuck the potential draft the grades. At worst Murray is a quality backup PG with the upside to be the next Kidd.
11. Miller ~ Miller begins the trend of possible big upside but work is needed rookies to finish out my big board. Its very possible GMs who choose to draft by potential take the next three guys much higher. Miller is one of my favorite prospects in this class and I was so very tempted to put him much higher. I am one of those GMs who love that A potential when looking at rookies. His scoring grades are decent and his defense isn't poor but some TLC will be needed to make him a star in this league.
12. Johnson ~ DerMarr needs to get his ass into the gym and add some muscle to that frame. Grade wise nothing separates Miller from Johnson but him being so skinny gives me some hesitation. My guess Johnson and Miller will be made similar and Odin will let the Software decide the fate of these two guys. Johnson will likely be more athletic and Miller a better shooter. I think the league loves Miller so maybe it gives him a slight edge. Either way both guys are lotto worthy in this class.
13. Crawford ~ J-Crossover is a one of my favorites irl. His grade set is comparable to some other guys who didn't make the cut on my big board. In most years Crawford wouldn't be a lotto selection so he chose a great year to get that money. You could see guys like Redd, Richardson or Turkoglu get taken in the area of the draft.
