I don't think I should commish because I can't set up a league until next week if the file is not ready by tonight. Also, if the commish has to advance weeks like on Madden, that would present some issues

If this online league is like past games the commish doesn't advance weeks during the season. You have a list of your games and can play them when ever you want.

Probably should have taken Curry over Davis though. I don't know. 3 point shooting is pretty underused and overrated in 2k. Good to know. My favorite squad to play with on 2K14 was the Blazers simply because everyone could hit from deep. |

On my lunch break I started an offline league with my squad, and I think they'll be pretty good. Danny Green, Courtney Lee, and Lillard are dangerous from three, Pekovic grabs all the rebounds and Ibaka can be a matchup problem for a lot of bigs. Then, I have shooters off the bench with Prince, Singler, and Jarrett Jack is a poorman's Lillard. Depth in the front court could be an issue, with McGary and Collison as my back up bigs, but all they need to do is rebound.

Also, as far as the settings, I believe we want:
30 teams (obviously)
29 game season
16 teams, either 1-3-3-5 or 3-5-5-7 playoffs
Allow trades
Custom Rosters (uploading the roster you or MJ build)
No preexisting injuries, if that is an option
not sure what people want for difficulty. I think one notch up from the default is usually good but I'm fine w/ whatever.
Not sure if there were any other rules we needed to address at set up.
Also, as discussed on XBox Live last night, we're only going to do one trade w/ CPU per season.

You have to upload the custom roster to 2k servers in order to use it in an online league, the same way people upload custom draft classes, etc
