TOP 11 ROOKIE CONTRACTS
1. Mike Conley -PG 23 6'1'' 190 B+ A- A+ A- C- B
-ya hes a beast that's all there is to it. One of the top 3 PGs in the game now that Skywalker has left us. Should be [HASH]1 on peoples FA big board.
2A. Georges Niang - SF 23 6'8'' 246 B+ B+ B A- B B
-Niang is the newest ELITE of the ELITE in the tmbsl. There is no deny that his grades have got HAM the past 2 TCs. After a bust in Chalky Heebs has redeemed himself in the city of Brick Town NY. The Sky is the limit for Georges and the Brooklyn's future is bright with this young rookie still under contract. This may be the most valuable asset in the TMBSL.
2B Sharef Abdur-Rahim - SF 22 6'9'' 230 A- C C- A- B A
-Abdur-Rahim in my mind is clearly 1B instead of [HASH]2. After a huge season last year he is making the Magic Johnson trade look like the perfect move. If the pieces around him can develop and the Magic can buy a few players this season he could be the soul and stone for this franchise moving forward. I hope MJ can keep this man at SF, we will see mad stats repeat itself but if he moves to PF I'm a bit scared of what his numbers might do. I understand on a tanking team he went for 36 a night but with a competitive team we might see something different if hes playing the post position.
3. Stephon Marbury - PG 21 6'3'' 180 B B+ A- A- C- A
-Starbury has the best Rookie FG% in the league and I'm not seeing that change this upcoming season. He is the starting PG for a rising team in Kansas City. 20s has done an excellent job putting Inside players around his big post men keeping the team's FG% at a premium. If he can keep this up I don't see him losing in the Semis in 2014. Stephon didn't do a lot of grade changes this off-season but he is already so good I think he will still improve on the stat sheet. I'm looking for another star season for Mr.Starbury.
4. Greg Oden - PF 23 7'0'' 280 B C- C- A- B+ A
- There is no doubt that Greg Oden is the best big man on this list. I think he will be a huge FA this year if he decides to test the market. As 20s said he was 1st team PF and has huge blocking ability. He mirrors one of the best big men in the league and it looks like Monroe most deft mentored him to be just like him. Oden is only 23 and about to get paid of a deal if he decided to get 20s a team friendly deal.
5. Kobe Bryant - SG 20 6'7'' 199 B+ A- B B C- C
-This was when it got a little tricky to rank after the top 3 rookies were off the board. I think Kobe is starting to turn into what Banktank hoped for. His FG% has improved each season and this years 2014 Preseason looked very promising for the young talent. The Nuggs are hurting a little bit on the wing so I think Kobe will have a break out year in 2014. The B defense can be scary to most GMs but I think it just depends on what is under the surface of the software. The Key this year is Kobe playing alongside cousin Mobius giving him a room-mate that will help the young Kobe adjust in the TMBSL.
6. Kevin Durant - SF 22 6'10'' 235 B- A C B+ B- B
- KD had an excellent season last year playing for the OG JW boosting an 48%/80%/44% stat line. It looks like he's not as good on the defensive side of the ball only avg 1 measly Steal and Block per game. Other than his defensive woes there is very little flaw in this mans game. I only have him about Kobe because KD is a couple years older and I think Kobe has a little more room to grow and that will make him slightly better. If KD gets some points plugged into whatever I just said will proable be false and Durant could turn into the next big SF next to SAR and Niang.
7. Allen Iverson - PG 23 6'0'' 170 B+ B+ A- A- D+ A
-The Answer is doing what it do in Milwaukee after being traded for Miami in a head scratching trade for Canes. After a disappointing rookie TC AI has put that behind him and is starting to look a lot more promising. With 100 Steals and having points thrust into him he is easily the best rising PG in the TMBSL. HE was much improved FG% from last season and with an improved outside shot after this years TC that could go up once again. His TOs are a bit high but if he can become a 27 ppg scorer I think trofie will over look that with ease.
8. Myles Turner - C 20 7'0'' 254 A- B- D+ B+ B+ A
-The 2nd big man finds himself slotted at the 7 hole on my top 10 rookies list. He has a good solid FT% and shoots a few 3s but what also impresses is his 44% from the field his rookie year. He looks to be coming along nicely nearly a Bob McAdoo 2.0 clone that boost the B- outside while still having a very respectable field goal percentage. His stats are all around good with 3 blocks and less than 1 TO a game. In todays TMBSL we see more and more players have really shitty handles and its a good sign for Tyler that this is not the case for Turner.
9. Ray Allen - SG 23 6'5'' 205 B A- C+ A- C A
-This could be the breakout year for Ray Allen playing on a elite type level team with 5 dynamic scorers. Its hard to see Ray being used as he is after being drafted in the top 3 in a awesome draft class. I honestly don't think its because of his talent but most likely whats around him on the floor. He is still stuck playing the 6th man role behind 2 very respectable players but I think he will show Fason he has a stud in the making after ADantley decided to call it quits. This might be the biggest diamond in the rough knowing he still hasn't' started for a full season in tmbsl.
10. Stanley Johnson - SG 20 6'9'' 248 B+ B- C B+ C+ A
-Stanley had a outstanding rookie season with 30 ppg and 46% FG percentages. I put him at 8 because we've seen in the past this type of production before in rookies with good scoring grades on a butchered out tanking team. King/Kimble/Robinson to name a few have shown us what could happen if the next few TCs aren't friendly to Stanley. I think he could very easily ignore those 3 players and turn into a very legit player. I almost feel sry for Ian drafting players with shittastic handles making it very difficult to be excited on their future. With that said Stanley still has awesome elite FT% and should be a very interesting prospect moving forward, most likely never having more than a B to B+ outside grade. I honestly don't think that matter but seeing what Ian does with him will be entertaining indeed.
11. Juan Keaney - SG 23 6'5'' 211 A- B C+ B+ C- A
This years 1.1 cracked the top 10 on Joey Diesel's list of top rookies in 2014. I think its hard to say what he is or can do at this point not playing a game but Canes is the type to put points into his players. A rookie with already Billy Knight type starting grades. His jumper looking at preseason should be around a 75-80 and had solid FG% that makes it seem he has some good Inside points already. Only scary part is he has Stanley Johnson type TO but has really good stealing ability. Time will tell if this was the right pick for Canes but as of right now he looks the most promising out of this years 2014 rookie lineup.
