I don't see how he could be outside the top 30 now if he was in the top 30 when you posted those original fangraph rankings. His slugging % has went up big time the last few days, as has his average. OBP is still extremely high as well.

When I did the first graph it was perfectly timed with his call up date. So those days he missed wasn't factored in. The latest numbers are full season. So i'm going to guess him missing a part of the season plays some sort of roll. Far from a expect someone else would need to chime in

Yeah if that's including since the beginning of the year then he wouldn't be top 30. Since his call up he definitely should be though.

yeah imagine if bankz had stuck by his original statement and bet. kind of convenient to not include defensive war, where he is negative.

The original conversation had someone claiming Kris Bryant is a top 30 player in all of baseball. Yeah it was Bankz claiming he would be top 30 in all of baseball and pretty much everyone calling him crazy and a homer, understandably so. I particularly remember duc and canes saying no chance. They then made the bet but never decided on the specifics. I asked if they were going top 30 players total or top 30 hitters and if they were just using offensive WAR or total WAR. Thought they decided on top 30 total WAR for position players but I don't really know.

Hitting, Defense, Pitching its total WAR list. But yeah keep trying to walk back that shit you talked

Kris Bryant is the 11th best player in baseball... At this moment. And yes Duc, Canes and Ocho along with Soup were all being cunts and called me crazy. I only mentioned the point because Keith Law who is highly respected in baseball circles stated he felt Kris Bryant would be a top 30 player this season. Seems like he and I were correct.

Cubs fans getting up there with the state of Missouri as most annoying fanbase in MLB
but at least the state of Missouri actually won something when we've been alive though
