Keeping the Best/Worst GM award is worth it for the drama alone. There are ways to objectively dismiss ballots, you could implement things like Cronbach's alpha, but I don't see the fun in that.

Where did I say that was different? Don't understand the building of a straw man and arguing against that. I actually don't think Eric was the worst GM last year. His Brian Grant signing and Paul George trades showed effort to improve his team in a year where he didn't own his pick without mortgaging any future assets. In past years, that might have been the case. I also never suggested that you don't include ballots. I just assumed most people voted on what they thought, not based on personality fueds. If people aren't voting seriously, the awards just don't have much value to me. It's not an attack on you at all. You won a GM of the year award based on being a good guy... I don't see why now you are upset at people voting based on non-sim league related criteria He actually won the GM of the year award for being the best GM that season. |

His 2nd iirc was given to him because no one stood out and he was a nice guy... |
