We gonna tighten up the CPU trades even more or keep it like this? I personally like being able to at least do 1 trade a year. Keeps things more entertaining and hopefully the computer isn't as easy to rape as an 8 year old in State College this year. I think 1 a season is fair. |

If RV switches to the NFC it would make for lopsided conferences. NFC would have two divisions with two users to zero doubled up divisions in the AFC. Just an observation.

Initial Madden thoughts
Gameplay is great. improvement on last year. they improved D against crossing routes.
Major changes to the passing game.
Jump balls are a lot different. Guys like Calvin Johnson have a huge advantage over shorter DB's when it comes to going up for the ball, but you can hit "A" to go after the WR's hands and knock the ball out. Nice balance, but like I previously said, big WR's are gonna win more battles than they lose. Just played a game against the comp on All-Pro where I did nothing but throw Lob's to Devante Parker. He's a 76 overall rookie and he came down with the ball 66% of the time.
The new draft challenge is great.
you start with a stock team and get 15 rounds to draft guys. each round you have 3 options. there is no set order to who is available in what round. ex you could be chosing between a RB/CB/OL You have no idea what is coming in the next round so if you pass on a QB like Phillip Rivers in round 3, you might not get another opportunity to draft one and are stuck with someone like Mark Sanchez. Round 15 is always chosing between 3 legends. Whether they are in a position of need or not is random.
Then it seems like you play until you lose a game. if you win 4 in a row you get a reward (don't know what it is yet) if you lose, game over and you have to draft a new team and start again

Few more things. Rosters are absolutely terrible.Ex. Colts 1st round pick Phillip Dorsett gets deleted from the game if you start a franchise with 53 man rosters. I am sure he isn't the only one. If you start with preseason rosters, he gets cut and is a FA. I know that I am pretty alone in wanting to wait for the rosters to get updated, but these out of box rosters are brutal.
