the franchise name it is now gets all the history of all past years, so the SuperSonics list is 76ers (3014-3046) and SuperSonics (3047-3054)
some of the team changes moved all players from one team ID to another, i.e. Raptors - Nets. the Raptors don't get Nets data
the 3051 lakers-grizzlies team name swap, however, does count
this was also performed retroactively so members of the 3014 Pistons and Mavericks got more, most notably Myles Turner and Aaron Harrison
