-1 because of rebounding caps so he will now be worse at rebounding?

-1 because of rebounding caps so he will now be worse at rebounding? if either Offensive Rebounding or Defensive Rebounding were above 60, they are now no higher than 60 (but can grow above them later so long as you leave him at SF). with only C+ rebounding it is unlikely that he was too terribly high above either, though. he could have (by coincidence) no more than 60 Rebounding grade, which means even with 5 Strength and 5 Quickness he could have only 74 in each (or 100 in one and 5 in another, etc.) checking a player at another position never tells you anything about whether he will be better at that position. the best case scenario is you trip a breakpoint in the defense soft caps, which are meaningless (and might have been what happened here). the worst case scenario is you hit a hard cap and permanently lower your player's attributes. we should probably just get rid of checks entirely.

What about when a player goes +2 or +3 somewhere? IE Catfish the SF becoming a +3 Catfish the Center

What about when a player goes +2 or +3 somewhere? IE Catfish the SF becoming a +3 Catfish the Center there's just too many variables to conclude anything. it could be that he had high shot blocking and strength, or it could just as easily be that he had high drive defense and low stealing. the only way to get actual information about a player is to actually play them at the position in question.

Eric is right kind of. The way he's been making players a change in defensive grade doesn't necessarily mean anything.
They usually did when I made players because I didn't do things like 80+ blocking for PGs.

So with him going -1 at D moving to SG it might not necessarily be a big deal or indicate that he would be worse at SG? I'm playing him at SG anyway so probably should move him there at some point anyway for the handling upgrade in TC
