Pythagorean Win-Loss uses points scored and allowed to try and determine what a team's record should have been without the effects of close games, whose results are more skewed by luck. Using b-r here is how the playoff bracket goes with nominal upsets bolded:

Hornets (49) over Heat (46)
Hawks (51) over Celtics (50)
