Larry Bird 22 SF/PF 6'9 220 Indiana State B B+ C+ B- A- B
Bird is the mostly highly anticipated prospect to come into the league since Shaquille O’Neal and Jimmy Jackson. He’s a terrific scorer that can get buckets in a variety of ways. He’s a very good jump shooter that has range that extends to the three point line. He can get his own shot anytime he wants in the midrange game. He’s a very good finisher inside and does a good of getting to the free throw line. More than just a scorer, he does a good job of getting his teammates involved. He was able to rack up some impressive assist numbers while at Indiana State. Bird is a beast on the boards, he should be a volume rebounder on both ends of the floor. He’s not a great individual defender, but makes up for his lack of foot speed with terrific anticipation, which helps him to force turnovers and chip in a block or two. He may have more success defending fours rather than threes due to his size and strength. Bird is the no brainer top pick of this draft and has the potential to be one of the best players in league history.

A- rebounding seems a little high for bird IMO.

A- rebounding seems a little high for bird IMO. I gave him A- since he averaged nearly 15 rebounds a game his junior year and 10 a game for his NBA career. I'm open to lowering it.

Yea. He's definitely a very good rebounder. I just worry that he will end up an A+ rebounder at SF which would be excessive.

who else has been at 15 rpg in college and what rebounding grades did they have? These are the A- rebounders that we've had: Emeka Okafor 14.2 Wilt Chamberlain 17.5 David Robinson 11.8 (Career high 13) Blake Griffin 14.4 Dikembe Mutombo 14.3 Shaquille O'Neal 14 LaSalle Thomson 13.5 I do think Canes brought up a fair point since people will probably try to cheese with Bird at SG.

Can we have a rule for Bird specifically that he cannot play SG?

He does make a good point but I think what you have seems right and think if adjusted it shouldn't go lower than B+ but think it should stay A-

Will look good standing next to Len Bias in a Boston Celtics uniform. The way that it was supposed to be.
