i'll let Odin decide if this is a violation or not, if it is i'll fix OP to have bruns sign some other insignificant 10 year vet that will end up getting 0 mins on my DC as opposed to this particular one that will end up getting 0 mins on my DC.

I'm with soup and this is how people always get around rules in our league it starts small but people then use it way too much. If you have rules and don't enforce them what is the fucking point of them. I don't care if the guy sucks but if the rule is you can't trade a guy and then receive him in a trade later then this should not work. Just sign a different FA and stop complaining.
