Round 1
1. Raptors - Tracy McGrady SF 6'8'' 210 19 B+ B- C+ C+ C+ A
Tracy McGrady SF 6'9'' 215 19 B+ B- C+ B- B- A (+2)
Not a bad TC, but he still has plenty of room to grow at just 19 years old. Hopefully Pete can get some points into the outside game.
2. Bullets - Tim Duncan PF 6'11'' 250 22 A- C- C A- A B
Tim Duncan C 6'11'' 255 22 A- C C A A A (+2, +1 potential)
Live look in at KN's war room after TC
3. Lakers - Chauncey Billups PG 6'3'' 202 21 C+ B C+ B C A
Chauncey Billups PG 6'3'' 202 21 B- B+ C B+ C+ A (+3)
Judging by the 20's overreaction to everyone's overreaction to the decrease in handles, it seems like Billups may be the real thing as a Stephen Curry-type PG in sim league. The only downside to this development is now Ian has to stop "being good at tanking" and will likely have to be mediocre at winning.
4. Bobcats - Keith Van Horn SF 6'10'' 220 22 B B D+ C+ B B
Keith Van Horn SF 6'10'' 225 22 B- A- D+ C+ B+ A (+2, +1 potential)
Looks to already have the build of a solid scorer. I'm sure Odin will put whatever points he needs to into him to develop him as a two-way player.
5. Nuggets - Antonio Daniels PG 6'4'' 195 22 B- B- B B- D+ B
Antonio Daniels PG 6'4'' 195 22 B- B- A- B- D+ B (+2)
Daniels has the opposite TC of Chauncey Billups, increases handles while staying the same across the rest of the board.
6. Suns - William Gates PG 6'0'' 195 21 B- B C+ C+ C- A
William Gates PG 6'0'' 195 21 B- B+ C+ C+ C- A (+1)
This was definitely the right pick, Ank. No ragrets about drafting this guy over Thomas.
7. Hawks (from Grizzlies) - Tim Thomas SF 6'10'' 230 20 B- B- C B- C+ A
Tim Thomas SF 6'10'' 230 20 B- B- C B+ B- A (+3)
We'll take it. A little worried because he didn't shoot much in preseason but here come the SCs and RCs.
8. Heat - Stephen Jackson SF 6'8'' 218 19 B- C+ C+ C+ C A
Stephen Jackson SF 6'9'' 223 19 B- C+ C+ B- C A (+1)
At least he didn't get worse, Canes. I'm pretty disappointed with this TC for NBA legend Captain Jack.
9. Spurs - Mikki Moore PF 6'11'' 225 22 C+ C- D B+ B- B
Mikki Moore PF 6'11'' 225 22 C+ C- D A- B+ A (+3, +1 potential)
And the award for most predictable TC explosion goes to...MIKKI MOORE
10. Nets (from Celtics) - Scot Pollard C 6'11'' 265 22 B- C- D B B- B
Scot Pollard C 22 6'11'' 265 B- C- D B- B C (-1 potential)
"I'll be selecting Ron Mercer." - Heebs
"Gonna trust the summit." - Heebs
'"I've made a huge mistake" - Gob Bluth' - Heebs
11. Hawks (from Bucks via Grizzlies) - Adonal Foyle C 6'10'' 250 22 B- D D- A- B+ B
Adonal Foyle C 6'10'' 250 22 B- D D- A- B+ B (no change)
If you thought I was going to use this post to make another pun on his name, sadly your plans have been Foy....wait.
12. Magic - Maurice Taylor C 6'9'' 260 21 B C D+ B- B- B
Maurice Taylor C 21 6'9'' 260 B C D+ B- B- C (-1 potential)
Maurice Taylor continues a streak of three disappointing TC's from young bigs.
13. Trailblazers (from SuperSonics via Raptors) - Arthur Agee PG 6'2'' 180 20 C+ C+ B B- D+ B
Arthur Agee PG 6'2'' 180 20 C B- A- B C- B (+4)
Really good TC for Agee. Scoring needs some work but he may be a decent prospect for Majic.
14. Hornets (from Bulls via Raptors) - Ron Mercer SG 6'7'' 210 21 B B- C C+ C A
Ron Mercer SG 6'7'' 210 21 B B C B- C A (+2)
Solid pick for Fecta right outside the lottery. Unfortunately we likely won't get to see much of him behind Detlef Shrimp and Vince Carter.
15. Raptors (from Clippers) - Mark Blount C 7'0'' 230 22 C+ D D+ B B- B
Mark Blount C 7'0'' 230 22 C+ D+ D B+ B- B (+2)
Not a great TC but at least he didn't pick Scot Pollard pffffffffffffffft
16. Nets (from Cavaliers) - Zeke Bellamy SF 6'11'' 242 23 C+ B D+ B- C A
Zeke Bellamy SG 6'11'' 242 23 C+ B C- C+ C A (+1 handles, -1 defense)
This was a draft and TC to remember for the New Jersey Nets.
17. Bobcats (from Hawks via Clippers) - Danny Fortson PF 6'7'' 260 21 B+ C D C+ B B
Danny Fortson C 6'7'' 260 21 B+ C D C+ B- B (-1)
And we have our first prospect to get worse. At least Odin has a lot of other guys to work with.
18. Pacers - Tony Battie C 6'11'' 230 21 B- D+ D B- B+ A
Tony Battie C 6'11'' 230 21 C+ D+ D B A- B (+1, -1 potential)
The -1 inside serves as more of a +1 for this type of big. Solid pickup for the Pacers. Losing potential isn't ideal but with some SC and RC love he's already close to where he needs to be to fill his role.
19. Thunder - Bobby Jackson PG 6'1'' 185 24 C+ B- C+ B C+ C
Bobby Jackson PG 6'1'' 185 24 B- B- B- B C+ C (+2)
Pretty good TC for a C potential PG.
20. Heat (from Trailblazers) - Kelvin Cato PF 6'11'' 255 23 C+ D D- A- B- B
Kelvin Cato PF 6'11'' 255 23 C+ D D- A- B C (+1, -1 potential)
The drop to C potential is discouraging but like Battie, he won't take much in the way of SC's and RC's to likely be a useful role player.
21. Clippers (from Hornets) - Derek Anderson SG 6'5'' 194 23 B- B C+ B C C
Derek Anderson SG 23 6'5'' 194 B- B+ B- B C B (+2, +1 potential)
I knew I should have traded back into the draft for this guy. MVP of Team Beard from the Summit.
22. Timberwolves - Marc Jackson C 6'10" 279 22 B C D C+ B B
Marc Jackson C 6'10'' 279 22 B+ C D B B+ B (+4)
Whoa. Great TC for Ayyoe's pick. So far the picks in the 20s are looking better than the late lottery. Very intriguing player.
23. Bobcats (from Kings) - God Shammgod PG 6'0'' 169 21 C C+ B B D A
God Shammgod PG 6'0'' 169 21 C+ C+ B B D A (+1)
A+ name, C+ TC.
24. Lakers (from Warriors) - Tariq Abdul-Wahad SG 6'6'' 223 23 C+ C+ C- B+ C+ B
Tariq Abdul-Wahad SF 23 6'6'' 223 C+ C+ C B C+ B (+1 handles, -1 defense)
Really bad TC for a guy that looked like a defense-only wing.
25. Bobcats (from Rockets via Heat) - Austin Croshere PF 6'9'' 235 22 B- B D+ C+ C+ B
Austin Croshere PF 6'9'' 235 22 B B D+ C+ C+ B (+1)
Has a good base to start with as a scorer but needs work on the other end.
26. Clippers (from Nets) - John Thomas C 6'9'' 265 22 B- D D+ B- B- B
John Thomas C 6'9'' 265 22 B- D D+ B B- C (no change, -1 potential)
Nothing to see here.
27. Rockets (from Knicks) - Brevin Knight PG 5'10'' 173 22 C B B+ B D+ C
Brevin Knight PG 22 5'10'' 173 C B+ B B C- C (+1)
Could be a decent backup PG.
28. Suns (from 76ers via Spurs) - Allyn Coleman PF 6'9'' 247 20 A- C C- B C+ C
Allyn Coleman PF 6'9'' 247 20 A- C- C- B C+ D (-1, -1 potential)
My favorite rookies are the ones with D potential. Just another mediocre big for Ank's collection.
29. Bullets (from Jazz via Bobcats) - Anthony Parker SG 6'6' 215 22 C+ B- C+ C+ C A
Anthony Parker SG 22 6'6'' 215 C+ B C C+ C B (-1 handles, +1 outside, -1 potential)
And we close out the first round with a really rough finish. Back to back guys with poor TCs.
Round 2
1. Bullets - Percy Miller SG 6'3' 200 28 C+ C+ C+ B- C+ B
Percy Miller SG 6'3'' 200 28 C+ B- C+ B C+ B (+2)
Not bad for a 28 year old rook.
2. Bobcats (from Lakers) - Chris Anstey C 7'0'' 245 22 B- C D+ C+ B B CUT
Chris Anstey C 7'0'' 245 22 C+ C C- C+ B+ B (+1)
3. Jazz (from Raptors) - Paul Grant C 7'3'' 245 23 C+ C C- C+ C+ A
Paul Grant C 23 7'3'' 245 C+ C C B- C+ A (+2)
4. Bobcats - Ed Gray SG 6'3'' 210 22 B B- C C+ C- B
Ed Gray SG 22 6'3'' 210 B+ B- C B- C- B (+3)
These grades look a lot like the grades of a certain #1 pick.
5. Nuggets - Scoonie Penberthy PG 6'0'' 202 20 C B A- B D+ B
Scoonie Penberthy PG 20 6'0'' 202 C- B- A- B- D+ C (-3, -1 potential)
This is what you call a devastating TC.
6. Suns - Keith Booth SF 6'6'' 225 23 B- C+ C B- B- C
Keith Booth SF 23 6'6'' 225 B- C+ C B- B- B (no change, +1 potential)
7. Heat - Michael Redd SG 6'6'' 210 20 C B+ C+ C+ C C
Michael Redd SG 20 6'6'' 210 C B C+ C+ C D (-1, -1 potential)
Don't think he's going to be much of an encore to the first Michael Redd.
8. Bobcats (from Grizzlies) - Troy Hudson PG 6'1'' 170 21 C+ B- C C+ D+ B
Troy Hudson PG 21 6'1'' 170 C+ B C B- C- C (+3, -1 potential)
9. Suns (from Spurs) - Charles O'Bannon SG 6'5'' 209 22 B- C+ C B- C+ B
Charles O'Bannon SG 22 6'5'' 209 B- C+ C B- C+ B (no change)
10. Celtics - Jacque Vaughn PG 6'1'' 190 22 C B- B+ B- D B
Jacque Vaughn PG 22 6'1'' 190 C B A- B D B (+3)
Solid selection by the Celtics in the middle of round 2. Looks to have potential as a future backup, maybe more with some good TC's and points.
11. Magic - Pat Burke C 6'11'' 250 24 B- D+ D C B- B
Pat Burke C 24 6'11'' 250 B D+ D+ C B B (+2)

13. Bobcats (from Bulls) - Cedric Henderson SF 6'7'' 215 22 C+ C D B B- B
Cedric Henderson SF 6'7'' 215 22 C+ C D+ B+ B B (+3)
Solid pick for Odin and a potential all-defense wing.

Absimov Garces C 19 7'6'' 242 C D+ D C+ C C (+1)
