preseason and summer league. 1. Mitch Richmond Mitch is gonna have to change his name to Extremely if he keeps this up because he's gonna be extremely rich, mon. Sensational efficiency in each league built on super elite Jump Shot, plus rebounding for a shooting guard, turns it over a little but not JohJen level. His big issue is on the defensive end: less than a bleal a game isn't gonna cut it. Still, the long suffering fans of Detroit are finally seeing the thunderclouds clear. . 2. Brian Shaw Nobody's on Mr. MR's level, but Shaw isn't bad. His grade indicates the 3P% is gonna drop a lot, but he should still be a good scorer. Like #1 he gives good boards, has a little case of fumble fingers, and doesn't give enough on the defensive end - he's the kind of one way gunner who you'd never trust as a future head coach. If the Spurs could put all their middling wings into one guy he'd be great, but TMBSL ain't Voltron. . 3. Rik SmitsSmitty put up great d/r numbers in preseason and fabulous scoring efficiency in summer league. If he can split the difference on both he can be the next Stromile Swift for Portland. Even all time great PF Ronald Savage's spot isn't safe from this lanky 7'4" so-and-so. . 4. Dan Majerle Dan thundered through summer league before his efficiency dipped majorly. He also looks like he has the Three Pointer higher than Jump Shot issue, which is not ideal, but the rebounds are fabulous and is a huge assist threat. He'll probably wash out of the league in four years. . 5. Nikola JokicThe Joker apparently went to the Draymond Green school of defense, and he compounds his miserable block numbers with woeful rebounding, but that scoring, my oh my. He needs dream TCs in both blocks and boards so he'll probably never be a star, but if he can get up to the 2 blk 10 reb range he'd be a very interesting two way player. . 6. Charles Smith Charles Smith - no, the other one - was an elite scorer in summer league and mediocre in the preseason. Unlike the other guys above him he offers respectable shot blocking, but with no three ball he's looking very Xavier McDaniely, albeit a 6'10" version. . 7. David Rivers The Doctor is in, and the prognosis is sublime handles. Like pretty much everyone his scoring wowed in summer league and fell in the river once the real competition started, but you gotta figure Herb Simon is happy to find even one plus skill deep in the second round. . 8. Gary Grant Gary (not to be confused with Jerai) Grant showed some decent scoring chops, handling, and rebounding. The Chief Petty Officer needs work everywhere but he doesn't need a miracle anywhere. . 9. Hersey Hawkins No surprise the Knicks pick would turn into a wing that likes to block shots. Scoring looked a little shaky in summer league though. . 10. Rex Chapman The ladder bought what this chap was selling in the summer, but in preseason he left backboards as WRex with his closed-eye shooting. By far the biggest discrepancy between the two leagues, but with great handles Memphis has to feel good about his long term future at PG.

day 30. 1. Mitch Richmond - LR #1By far the best. Outside say his 3P% will come down, if he gets even middling TCs in that he'll be a HOF scorer. Some guys play the piano, some guys carry the piano, and Mitch takes a few a lot all of the plays off on defense, but it won't matter. . 2. Brian Shaw - LR #2Outside pegs him as an even more efficient scorer than Mitch in the regular season and his d/r numbers are merely mediocre instead of skull and crossbones emoji, plus he throws in better handles, but Mitch has a much better track record before the season so Shaw stays #2 for now. . 3. Rik Smits- LR #3As predicted he's split the difference between sensational summer and pretty bad preseason, leaving a plus scorer for a big with decent starting shot blocking. Right now he's not good enough at either end to start for a good team, but he should at least grow into a good defender, whichi added to his reasonably potent scoring punch is a heady combo. . 4. Dan Majerle - LR #4I have no idea why I had Young Thunder so high last update, but his efficiency has been fantastic. He still has a lower jump shot than three shot, but it's not crippling. . 5. Rex Chapman - LR #10Another split the difference guy, Rexy ended up a little more Hexy than Sexy - average efficiency, okay handles, rebounding dipping to embarrassing levels. He's the kind of decent point guard that gets wildly overpaid in FA, so have fun with that Odin. . 6. Vernon Maxwell - LR unrankedAll new boys in the lower half. Mad Max is undersized and doesn't take threes, but his efficiency is average anyway and he's putting up very nice shot blocking numbers. Before season efficiency was a concern, reminds me a lot of a young Roger Phegley, so have fun with that Ankly. . 7. Vinny Del Negro - LR unrankedVinny D also couldn't buy a basket before the season but has rebounded to solid efficiency now and continues to look very frisky on the d/r front. Great size, great hair, and we know he can coach a team just as far as Doc Rivers. . 8. Will Perdue- LR unrankedThis class has a lot of blocking on the perimeter and not much from big men. Will's aversion to getting buckets would make him a reasonable starter on a good team even now, as his d/r fills out he should become a premier d/r big. . 9. Grant Long - LR unranked10. Danny Manning - LR unrankedA couple guys here with great blocking and jump shots and very poor three shots. They're both PF profile so that may be their long term position, and we can be reasonably sure they're not going to finish the season at 55% or 40% from the field. Dan Man showed flashes in summer league but otherwise there's not a ton to be confident about for either.

day 60. 1. Mitch Richmond - LR #1Still clearly the best. . 2. Grant Long - LR #9I don't know how long it'll last but he's at nearly average scoring efficiency, and if you throw in his elite d/r that makes him a capital S Stud. . 3. Brian Shaw - LR #2Still a Poorman's Richmond. . 4. Dan Majerle - LR #4Still solid across the board. Doesn't do anything terrible, doesn't do anything great. . 5. Rik Smits- LR #3The Riktator drops a little in efficiency and ladder ranking. So long as he stays in the 2.5+ bpg range he should be fine going forward. . 6. Steve Kerr - LR unrankedNow we know why he left his cushy coaching gig, Steve Kerr is scorching the nets in sim league. His grade says the efficiency will come down a little but still elite, the bigger problem is that he's looking at mid 3 turnovers per 36, and has even fewer rebounds. He didn't play preseason but put up similar figures in summer league, so I'm confident the scoring is legit. Hopefully PG camps bring those handles up, the rebounding is probably a lost cause. . 7. Vinny Del Negro - LR #7Still doing his thing. Wouldn't surprise me to see him top five next update: buckets and blocks is a good mix. . 8. Kevin Edwards - LR unrankedThe other new boy on the ladder, KeEds is probably going to see his 3P% come up a bit, but only enough to get him to league average efficiency. Add decent (but not good) handles and plus rebounding and he deserves a nod. . 9. Will Perdue- LR #8Still an okay d/r guy. . 10. Danny Manning - LR #10FG% has come up a lot but is still an Andre Roberson: PF masquerading as a wing player. Unlike Andre 1000, sim league guys almost can't help but get better at three point shooting, so Manning has a possible future as a good player. . stats pts/tsa blk/36 ast:tov reb/36 pts/36 JSH 3SH xp/t mp Player 1.148 0.10 1.14 7.05 28.12 94.06 66.94 1.127 1596 Mitch Richmond SG 1.051 2.18 0.80 8.73 16.15 100.59 12.41 1.047 743 Grant Long SF 1.081 0.13 1.94 6.85 19.88 82.42 53.58 1.108 777 Brian Shaw SG 1.065 0.19 2.28 7.05 20.27 79.56 81.44 1.079 1492 Dan Majerle SG 0.994 2.60 0.63 10.30 19.35 79.27 11.73 0.994 1384 Rik Smits C 1.251 0.41 1.44 2.86 26.59 96.20 49.80 1.157 238 Steve Kerr PG 1.025 1.09 1.50 4.73 18.55 77.22 68.78 1.066 178 Vinny Del Negro PG 1.017 0.44 2.52 5.93 16.02 86.74 39.26 1.046 984 Kevin Edwards PG 0.621 2.54 1.75 10.57 2.93 52.16 16.84 0.621 644 Will Perdue C 1.017 1.48 0.80 8.68 16.31 93.00 20.00 1.014 595 Danny Manning SF 0.827 0.65 0.50 11.78 9.16 57.72 -1.72 0.827 72 Andrew Lang C 0.975 0.33 0.94 10.90 28.40 81.82 31.18 0.979 1341 Anthony Mason PF 0.481 0.00 2.33 3.35 5.02 70.95 65.05 0.643 39 Anthony Taylor PG 0.919 1.52 1.29 8.37 12.68 83.03 29.97 0.932 369 Charles Smith SF 0.959 0.25 2.75 8.14 18.25 93.54 32.46 0.954 555 Chris Morris SF 0.864 0.94 1.17 4.68 9.82 87.96 38.04 0.874 69 Corey Gaines SG 0.896 0.46 1.50 2.77 15.23 31.27 94.73 1.012 94 Craig Neal PG 1.027 0.46 19.00 4.15 19.38 90.79 45.21 0.958 125 David Rivers PG 0.917 0.49 2.80 6.41 16.27 76.13 49.87 0.880 168 Everette Stephens PG 0.948 0.00 0.00 16.20 4.50 110.63 25.37 0.948 16 Fennis Dembo SF 1.042 0.00 2.50 6.05 15.11 83.27 52.73 1.031 380 Gary Grant PG 0.770 0.89 0.80 10.41 10.41 64.60 4.40 0.770 992 Greg Butler C 0.980 0.42 3.25 8.89 11.44 81.77 31.23 0.977 170 Hersey Hawkins SG 0.932 2.26 3.20 12.55 13.58 78.12 12.88 0.923 648 Jerome Lane PF 0.788 0.29 1.20 8.74 12.68 43.33 2.67 0.788 1112 Jon Moore C 1.333 0.00 1.50 2.40 14.40 #DIV/0! #DIV/0! #DIV/0! 30 Keith Smart PG 1.026 0.42 0.67 5.84 4.03 77.22 13.78 0.967 958 Marques Payton SG 0.983 0.70 1.07 9.85 21.81 92.04 20.96 0.986 1136 Nikola Jokic C 0.883 0.96 0.57 10.93 17.36 49.58 6.42 0.883 426 Orlando Graham PF 1.056 0.10 2.64 3.87 19.15 80.80 65.20 1.036 1307 Rex Chapman PG 0.928 0.19 2.92 5.14 16.57 90.79 45.21 0.974 737 Rod Strickland SG 1.050 0.00 1.00 0.00 4.70 #DIV/0! #DIV/0! 1.050 16 Rolando Ferreira C 0.837 2.57 0.00 10.80 18.00 57.72 -1.72 0.837 77 Rony Seikaly C 0.953 2.28 0.50 10.03 9.57 77.22 -21.22 0.953 253 Tim Perry PF 0.813 1.51 2.25 11.68 3.44 77.22 -8.22 0.813 550 Tito Horford C 0.638 0.00 #DIV/0! 0.00 17.33 110.63 35.37 0.638 8 Tom Garrick PG 0.935 0.50 1.00 6.55 9.44 74.35 61.65 0.886 601 Tom Tolbert SF 0.620 0.95 1.36 4.12 2.70 110.63 2.37 0.652 341 Trey Decontract SF 0.500 2.70 1.67 11.70 4.50 #DIV/0! #DIV/0! 0.500 16 Troy Wyss SF 0.997 1.20 1.56 6.55 16.36 82.14 30.86 1.003 1353 Vernon Maxwell SG 1.015 0.23 0.50 5.61 4.44 85.03 40.97 0.989 693 Vince Cronin SF 0.857 0.99 1.75 5.67 12.58 84.89 41.11 0.918 423 Willie Anderson SF

day 90. 1. Mitch Richmond - LR #1Everyone else has fallen off, leaving MiRi even more of a prohibitive favorite for People's ROY. . 2. Grant Long - LR #2Efficiency dipped a little but not as much as the rest of these bums, still doing the great blocks. . 3. Steve Kerr - LR #64. Vinny Del Negro - LR #7Two real life coaches here. Kerr's scoring looks way better than VDN's, but the Outside Grade tells us they're almost neck and neck. Vinny continues to be much better on d/r. I still have Steve top because Vinny was terrible in preseason, Steve has a huge Jump Shot advantage, and Vinny just isn't flexible enough - too much backbone. . 5. Dan Majerle - LR #4All he can do is score, and the scoring is down to league average levels. +8 to his Jump Shot should do him very, very well. This is not a guy who will blossom without TLC. . 6. Rik Smits- LR #5His stats are probably a little better this update, but he's a big, so screw 'im. . 7. Rex Chapman - LR unrankedSexy Rexy sneaks back onto the ladder. He's a good scorer, his three point will come down. Over time he should grow into a plus scorer, doesn't do much else for you but this game has always been about buckets. . 8. Brian Shaw - LR #3His scoring has flopped, I think he'll pull back up before season's end but he better do it quick. Will Perdue doesn't make all that chicken for grins, he's HONGRY. . 9. Will Perdue- LR #9He's not that hungry though. . 10. Tim Perry - LR unrankedTimPer (no relation to rookie GM TimPig) (as far as I know) is looking very Kobe Maggette - good d/r, not great in either one, slightly undersized, middling efficiency and volume that could blossom into an elite two way player but definitely, definitely won't. . stats pts/tsa blk/36 ast:tov reb/36 pts/36 JSH 3SH xp/t mp Player 1.143 0.10 1.25 7.14 27.50 91.11 69.89 1.130 2024 Mitch Richmond SG 1.036 2.25 0.80 8.78 16.20 95.18 17.82 1.040 1040 Grant Long SF 1.121 0.30 1.73 3.87 22.91 93.93 52.07 1.076 593 Steve Kerr PG 1.025 1.09 1.50 4.73 18.55 77.22 68.78 1.066 178 Vinny Del Negro PG 1.039 0.19 2.22 6.97 19.84 76.66 84.34 1.062 2269 Dan Majerle SG 1.023 2.73 0.69 9.97 19.94 82.62 8.38 1.023 2092 Rik Smits C 1.065 0.10 2.59 3.94 18.99 82.58 63.42 1.050 2082 Rex Chapman PG 1.034 0.28 2.06 6.21 19.31 85.51 50.49 1.045 1357 Brian Shaw SG 0.621 2.54 1.75 10.57 2.93 52.16 16.84 0.621 644 Will Perdue C 0.953 2.28 0.50 10.03 9.57 77.22 -21.22 0.953 253 Tim Perry PF 0.817 0.54 1.00 11.82 9.13 40.79 15.21 0.817 154 Andrew Lang C 0.952 0.33 0.85 11.06 26.67 80.85 32.15 0.960 1959 Anthony Mason PF 0.540 0.00 1.67 3.79 5.68 70.95 65.05 0.754 42 Anthony Taylor PG 0.968 1.54 1.00 7.97 13.63 82.62 30.38 0.965 392 Charles Smith SF 1.043 0.20 2.60 8.04 20.72 87.44 38.56 0.994 1020 Chris Morris SF 0.864 0.94 1.17 4.68 9.82 87.96 38.04 0.874 69 Corey Gaines SG 0.886 0.41 1.62 3.27 15.14 47.14 78.86 0.957 176 Craig Neal PG 0.966 1.85 0.75 8.49 16.06 82.90 30.10 0.954 1034 Danny Manning SF 1.032 0.50 9.00 4.00 18.50 84.18 51.82 0.961 180 David Rivers PG 0.967 0.52 2.60 6.26 17.22 76.13 49.87 0.866 179 Everette Stephens PG 0.995 0.00 0.33 15.60 3.60 110.63 25.37 0.995 21 Fennis Dembo SF 1.016 0.29 2.17 5.52 14.23 83.27 52.73 1.017 409 Gary Grant PG 0.757 0.90 0.73 10.69 11.00 58.05 10.95 0.757 1530 Greg Butler C 0.934 0.46 4.33 9.11 10.48 81.77 31.23 0.945 190 Hersey Hawkins SG 0.824 2.56 2.56 12.16 12.32 73.13 17.87 0.829 1350 Jerome Lane PF 0.839 0.27 1.00 8.83 12.71 44.02 1.98 0.839 1749 Jon Moore C 1.333 0.00 1.50 2.40 14.40 #DIV/0! #DIV/0! #DIV/0! 30 Keith Smart PG 1.017 0.44 2.52 5.93 16.02 86.74 39.26 1.046 984 Kevin Edwards PG 0.992 0.55 0.73 5.61 3.83 67.34 23.66 0.917 1578 Marques Payton SG 0.980 0.69 1.00 9.61 21.65 93.82 19.18 0.988 1711 Nikola Jokic C 0.930 1.59 0.75 11.39 17.09 54.56 1.44 0.930 916 Orlando Graham PF 1.000 0.18 1.84 4.99 17.47 75.36 70.64 0.994 404 Ricky Grace PG 0.964 0.00 2.91 5.05 17.12 86.21 49.79 0.987 951 Rod Strickland SG 1.050 0.00 1.00 0.00 4.70 #DIV/0! #DIV/0! 1.050 16 Rolando Ferreira C 0.899 1.75 0.33 9.44 19.92 39.48 16.52 0.899 247 Rony Seikaly C 0.782 1.55 2.38 11.72 3.39 77.22 -8.22 0.782 561 Tito Horford C 0.873 0.00 11.00 0.78 12.52 57.72 88.28 0.761 37 Tom Garrick PG 0.935 0.50 1.00 6.55 9.44 74.35 61.65 0.886 601 Tom Tolbert SF 0.581 1.16 1.00 3.65 2.82 96.20 16.80 0.619 825 Trey Decontract SF 0.500 2.70 1.67 11.70 4.50 #DIV/0! #DIV/0! 0.500 16 Troy Wyss SF 1.004 0.96 1.65 6.82 16.40 82.06 30.94 1.007 2163 Vernon Maxwell SG 0.996 0.24 0.57 5.41 3.76 87.96 38.04 1.009 995 Vince Cronin SF 0.973 1.11 1.86 5.82 14.95 88.99 37.01 0.947 507 Willie Anderson SF

day 120. 1. Mitch Richmond - LR #1Fell just short of 50/40/90 as a rookie. Plus rebounder. Is so good at everything that duplicate Shot Blocking camps could conceivably be his best investment due to being his *only* investment, but I think it'll go Three Point / Handling / Blocking. He's already a superstar, there's really no ceiling, not even a roof. . 2. Vinny Del Negro - LR #4Vincenzo put on a late surge in scoring to go with his still tasty defense. He's got good but not great handles and his rebounding needs work, but a PG flirting with 1.1 pts/tsa and 1 block per 36 covers up a lot of minor blemishes. Looks like all gbg needed to succeed was leaving OKC. #DurantFinalsMVP #WestbrookToLakers #KanterCanJustStayThere . 3. Grant Long - LR #2His scoring took a Phegleyesque dip but he's still got time and the blocks are beastly. GM Billy King has threatened to move him to PF on several occasions for reasons that remain unclear, but I guess it takes awhile for the Pacers prospect-ruining stink to wear off. . 4. Steve Kerr - LR #3Steven's scoring looks great but his Outside suggests it's merely average, and he has worst handles/rebounding than VDN. Still, he's got an elite jump shot and average efficiency with plus non-option volume as a rookie is nothing to sneeze at. . 5. Rik Smits- LR #6Smitty's scoring continued to drop but I bumped him up a spot to go with his blocks bump. Give me a 2.7 blocks .99 pts/tsa guy over a 2.2 1.03 any day. He should be able to get to the mid threes no problem, and at that point any scoring is a bonus. . 6. Dan Majerle - LR #5He just scores, and not that well, which with a lower Jump Shot than Three Shot doesn't augur well for his future. Still, a couple Jump Shot camps and he should be a plus scorer at minimum. . 7. Kevin Edwards - LR #xKeds has been in and out of fashion this year. He finished with okay scoring and flirty blocks/boards so I'm bringing him back. . 8. Rex Chapman - LR #7Rexy scored slightly better but didn't do the other stuff. . 9. Will Perdue- LR #9Stay hungry, stay woke. . 10. Vernon Maxwell - LR #xSlim pickings as usual so I went with MLEwell. He blocks, he rebounds, he can't score a lick but with his low volume you gotta think he can take double Inside camps. . rest of lotto Draymond Green Danny Manning - a Magic lotto pick tweener forward, terrible scorer, middling defender Anthony Mason - could be an elite scoring big but blocks less per 36 than point guard Kevin Edwards so Nikola Jokic - is a plus scoring big who blocks more than Mase but not by much, plus he has weak rebounding Charles Smith - Grant Long : Roger Phegley :: Chuck : Ron Artest Brian Shaw - scores like Grant Long, defends like Mitch Richmond. He chose... poorly Chris Morris - is shooting 100% from the field on shots he doesn't miss. has good rebounding and handling Willie Anderson - showed good blocking in limited time but also showed the type of scoring that'll keep him nailed to the bench Rod Strickland - mediocre in every way Hersey Hawkins - had interesting stats in various places in all three leagues, but didn't put it all together in any given one. MJ has the worst draft luck. It's 100% payback for Drafting Shareef, Signing Magic and drafting Greg Monroe. It's fine
