What was I gonna do, be a middling franchise with 3 straight years of no picks?
With this I get 3 young assets to build around, and get rid of Frazier who is useless on this team.
This team was the 7 seed last year and got swept in the first round with Dawkins.

fwiw we stopped allowing "will trade xx player in day 60/99 back for expirings" thing
each trade will be evaluated separately, so your "expirings for Dawkins" offer will be evaluated as its own trade lol.
grats on bruns keeping Dawkins and getting Fraizer and Foots Walker for pretty much just Sharon Wright.

Picks are overrated, I get 4 guys who are all 24 and younger, and very good.

Probably trade my good players for my picks My initial plan, two different teams own my picks though. Instead I pickup a lotto pick from last year who had a nice TC, a big who's 21 signed long term and has grades of B/A/A-, and another big who's 23 with grades B-/A-/C/A-/A- (I do have to resign him). If I got those players with my picks I'd be a happy man. This way I take out the uncertainty of the draft. But hey, time will tell if it works out, still definitely a big risk. On top of that I get rid of Frazier who was useless to my team. |
