Hey folks, I decided to rank what I thought were the best contracts in the league. There are a lot of guys to choose from, so I had to make a couple of rules:
- No deals over $10M (shoutout to non-max beasts like Cousy and JO)
- No defensive bigs.
Let's get started...
10. Jrue Holiday (Raptors)
Salary: MLE
Stats: 37.8 16.4 4.7 8.9 2.2 0.1 1.5 .463 .885 .443
Mr. Cheney, aka Young Darkness hasn't lit the world on fire, but he's been steady for GM of the Year candidate Pete's Raptors.
9. Bob Pettit (Raptors)
Salary: $10,000,000
Stats: 35.1 17.5 12.1 1.7 1.0 2.2 1.4 .460 .769 .000
Another member of Petey's surprising squad, Big Bob is still putting up big numbers at 34. Keep ballin', Bob.
8. Herb Williams (Spurs)
Salary: $5,000,000
Stats: 33.0 15.4 11.2 1.1 0.7 3.2 1.1 .448 .679 .000
Herb continues to get it done. Herb continues to be a money-hating commie.
7. Ty Lawson (Bobcats)
Salary: $10,000,000
Stats: 38.5 23.6 4.2 8.8 2.3 0.2 1.6 .461 .899 .435
After a few down years under the influence of tanking GMs, Lawson has been a driving force for Odin's Bobcats.
6. Slick Leonard (Nets)
Salary: $5,400,000
Stats: 34.9 22.8 4.3 8.8 1.6 0.1 2.5 .465 .831 .415
Slick's enjoyed a career year as part of Heebs' revamped backcourt.
5. Willie Nauls (Bullets)
Salary: $6,367,248
Stats: 37.6 23.5 8.8 1.7 0.9 1.0 1.4 .464 .883 .438
This guy is good, man.
4. Stromile Swift (Blazers)
Salary: $6,000,000
Stats: 35.4 21.0 11.8 1.0 0.7 3.9 1.0 .432 .686 .000
I don't remember him being this good in Washington
3. Broderick Williamson (Nets)
Salary: LLE
Stats: 29.3 12.9 10.1 0.7 0.7 2.8 1.0 .453 .657 1.000
Fun fact: Williamson is leading the league in three-point field goal percentage. Max this summer? I don't see why not.
2. Jeff Hornacek (Spurs)
Salary: $9,151,771
Stats: 37.7 24.1 4.1 9.9 1.3 0.2 1.8 .479 .896 .410
Horny was having a 50/40/90 season until his percentages took a beating those last few sims. Speaking of which...
1. Doug Overton (Knicks)
Salary: $5,000,000
Stats: 38.4 25.5 4.4 10.9 1.1 0.1 1.4 .450 .838 .395
Doug teamed up with the Aaron and AndrewSleech Harrison to skeet mayonnaise all over the league. At $5M per for the next three seasons, Eric is getting filet mignon production at porkchop prices.
- No deals over $10M (shoutout to non-max beasts like Cousy and JO)
- No defensive bigs.
