Thompson is a strong low post scorer because of his ability to out-muscle defenders down low. Scouts would like to see him become more aggressive inside because he has the potential to be a 20+ PPG scorer at the next level. He’s already a reliable free throw shooter. His strength and athleticism makes him an excellent rebounder. He is a good rim protector, but needs to improve as an individual defender. Thompson is expected to be chosen somewhere inside the top 10.
