Richard Jefferson 21 SF 6'7 233 Arizona B- B- C B- C BJefferson is a very talented slasher that possesses good athleticism and a great wingspan. He didn’t put up huge offensive numbers while at Arizona, but that was likely a product of playing on a loaded team. He has an explosive first step which allows to drive past defenders to finish in the lane or get to the free throw line at a high rate. Jefferson has a pretty stroke on his jumper, but needs to work on his consistency. His form suggests that he should be able to develop three point range. He’s a decent rebounder, but you’d expect a player with his size and athleticism to grab more than 5 boards a game. Defensively, he’s a good wing defender that is more focused on shutting down his man rather than gambling for steals. Jefferson figures to be a lotto pick because of his potential as a scorer and athleticism.
