Rankings are based on a combination of performance this year and how good I think they will be going forward.
Billy Hoyle SG 23 6'3" 190 C A- C B- C B
Hoyle would be #26, I love him. As I said in Pete's rookie ladder, he looks like a poor man's Jimmy Chitwood with those stats and grades.
Derrick Rose PG 25 6'3'' 210 B+ B A- A- C C
I actually had a hard time keeping him out of the top 25. He still has +8 left that Jerry West can put into his jumper.
Isaiah Canaan PG 23 6'1'' 195 B- A- A- B- D+ B
His scoring has jumped since @dumptime switched to a balanced offense. Would like to see what he could do as a scoring option in an outside offense.
Kobe Maggette C 23 6'9'' 258 C+ C D A B- A
On his way towards being one of the best def/reb bigs in the league.
Vin Baker C 24 6'11'' 290 A- C- D- A- A- C
Not complete garbage anymore, outside of his FT% (.644) his numbers are close to Elton Brand's. Has +3 left that could be put into his jumper.
25. Jabari Parker SF 24 6'9'' 265 A- B C- A- B B
I'm not a huge fan of Parker due to those TOs and his lack of defense, but you can't ignore that he is scoring nearly 30 PPG. Wish he was more efficient though.
24. Bismack Biyombo C 25 6'8'' 265 C+ D D+ A+ A C
Second best def/reb big in the league. Have to love the combination of rebounds, steals, and blocks. He was well worth those 3 Kings firsts 20s Navidad gave up for him.
23. Sergey Karasev SF 20 6'8'' 213 B B+ C C+ C A
Shocker that eric made a former Cav that's from Europe really good. He's efficiently scoring 20 a game and is a better defender than the C+ defense shows. Nice piece for the Knicks to rebuild with.
22. Elton Brand C 24 6'8'' 265 A- C C- A A- B
His scoring has dipped a little this season, but he has really improved his shot blocking. Should be one of the better bigs in the league for the next 6-8 years. If GBG does decide to blow it up, he should get a nice return for Brand.
21. Ben McLemore SG 21 6'5'' 195 B- A C B C B
I've been happy with McLemore this season. This is probably a stretch, but his numbers aren't that far from Jesus Shuttlesworth's second season. I don't expect him to be nearly as good as Jesus, I'm hopeful he can efficiently average 25 a game by the end of his rookie deal.
20. Mystic Stone C 25 7'0'' 292 C+ C F B B C
Grades aren't pretty, but stat wise he's the perfect def/reb big and the closest thing we'll see to another Catfish. Bankz is a scumbag for only giving Yawn one shitty Nuggets first for him. One of the underrated rapes of 4.0.
19. Brook Lopez C 25 7'0'' 295 B- C C- A A- C
I think he's underrated among the league. His numbers have declined this season, but I expect him to bounce back in the second half of the season. He might be at his ceiling though.
19. Wes Matthews PG 24 6'1'' 190 B A- B B+ C- C
Another player that gets underrated. Will be among the elites once he cuts down on the TOs. Should get a max this offseason and will be a top 10 PG for the next 8 seasons.
17. Jonathan Bender C 23 7'0'' 235 B+ B+ B B+ A- B
#17 may be too low for Bender. Back in 3030, he looked like he was going to become one of the best players in the league. Will be elite once he improves his FG%.
16. Eric Gordon SG 25 6'5'' 215 C+ A C+ A+ C- C
He's already an elite shooter and defender. Will be a star if he ever decides to put up more shots.
15. Dante Exum PG 24 6'7'' 210 B A A- A- C- C
SG may be his true home. His scoring numbers have declined from last season now that he is only playing SG. Still looks really good though. May deserve another shot at PG if his TOs drop below 1.7.
14. Lil Penny PG 22 5'3'' 155 B- A- B+ A- C- B
Maybe I'm just being a size queen by having Lil Penny at only #14. He's obviously good, but I think his numbers may be inflated due to his team. I think he'll eventually struggle in the playoffs against the top point guards.
13. Luther Wright C 24 7'2'' 340 A- C- C- A B+ B
Second most efficient big in the league behind Webber. The only thing that held him out of the top 10 was the 2.6 blocks, will be one of the best two-way bigs in the league if he ever gets to 3.5.
12. Dario Saric SF 25 6'10'' 240 B B C A- B+ B
I've been a little underwhelmed with Saric so far, but he did have a rough start to the season. He's one of the few stat stuffing SFs in the league and I think his numbers will keep climbing.
11. Anfernee Hardaway PG 24 6'7'' 195 B+ B+ A B+ C+ A
Screw Lil Penny, I like real Penny better. He still has +8 left and it should all go into his handles. He made the all-star game this season and will be elite once he gets those TOs below 3 a game.
10. Rex Walters SG 25 6'4'' 195 C+ A+ C B C B
The hype for Walters is legit, JHB isn't just annoyingly padding his post count. The 6'4 white guy with B defense is the best shot blocking guard in the league. Not sure how much more he can really improve though. Should be one of the best wings in the league for a while.

9. Alonzo Mourning C 22 6'10'' 245 A- C D+ A- B+ B
Sorry, I like Shaq better moving forward. Zo is still great, he'll probably be a DPOY candidate for the next 10 seasons. My critique is that he is only shooting 41.3% in an inside offense and his jumper is already maxed out. He'll be a top 10 player overall if he can raise his FG% to above 45%.
8. Julius Randle PF 25 6'9'' 270 B+ C D+ B+ A- B
#FreeRandle I think it's getting to that point where @rv should trade him for a king's ransom and start over.
7. Shaquille O'Neal C 21 7'1'' 330 A+ D+ C B+ A B
ANK1990 can potentially put +19 into Shaq's jumper since he still has a bonus 3. I'm expecting Shaq in a couple years to average 30 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks while shooting close to 50%.
6. Joel Embiid C 24 7'1'' 285 A- C- D A A C
Embeast, feels like he's been in the league for 10 years now. Only small critique of his game is that his FT% isn't at 80%.
5. Jesus Shuttlesworth SG 23 6'6'' 213 B+ A+ C A- C+ B
He's amazing and still only 23.
I'll say for the 97th time, FUCK RW AND FUCK DEVINE.
Bruns this was why I was giving you a hard time about Brunsgate.
4. Chris Webber C 22 6'9'' 270 A C B- A A- A
Playing like the best big in the league in only his third season. He's really improved his PPG and FG% this season. If he keeps playing like this he'll be the best big man in the history of 4.0.
3. Jimmy Jackson SG 22 6'6'' 220 B A- C A- C+ A
Quietly averaging 34.5 PPG on 48.1% shooting. Sure his numbers are inflated due to his teammates, but he is having the best rookie season of 4.0. I think he'll end up being a more efficient version of Kevin Brooks.
2. Kyrie Irving PG 25 6'3'' 200 B- A+ A+ A+ C- B
He's practically perfect outside of the 2.6 TOs a game. At worst, he should be a top 3 PG for the next 10 years.
1. Jesse Epstein PG 21 6'2'' 175 B+ B+ C B C A
Those 3.1 TOs make him mortal, for now. He'll probably get to A/A scoring grades and average close to 40 a game in a few seasons. Also screw assists, who needs 'em.
We have a lot of young talent in the league, especially big men. Great job by Souper Troopers and eric making elite players.
Honorable Mentions
Billy Hoyle SG 23 6'3" 190 C A- C B- C B
