What a shock that Tony and Camilla would get sent home for losing their minds. At what point does MTV look in the mirror on this stuff? How do you take two unbalanced people, force them to be on the same team, provide them with alcohol, throw them into a competitive environment and then be surprised at the outcome? Is it going to take someone actually beating a woman on television for them to change their approach? It's not funny, it's not entertaining. If you can't be bothered to adequately supervise people like this, don't have them on your show.

last night's episode sucked. the formatting of the episodes this season has been horrible. They have new producers this season. Doesn't help that so many teams are dropping out or getting kicked out.

It's really interested me that the eliminations have moved sharply away from the American Gladiators style of previous seasons, and I think it's been a very welcome change. Zach in Oppenheimer for example is just not interesting, he's going to plow through anyone on any cast. The new eliminations retain a skill element but don't rely so overwhelmingly on, well, being built like an American Gladiator. Bravo Bunim, well done Murray.

Probably because a lot of the new guys are smallish and aren't jacked up on roids like the guys of the past.

Dario and Nicole are just terrible. Unwatchable. Nicole needs to be the center of attention, if she's not she starts stewing and then jumps in the conversation at random talking very fast and very chirpy. Dario doesn't think before, during, or after he talks. Wes had the best line of the season so far in their tit for tat during nomination, paraphrased from memory: Dario: "When you win we can settle it! Me and you!" Wes: "I don't even know what that means."
BECAUSE IT MAKES NO SENSE. That's not how the game works, Dario! Trusting Bananas has never paid off for anyone, Dario! Try to follow, Dario!
Yeesh.
It must be so frustrating for Wes (who by the way is no prize himself, so if he comes off looking good here what does that tell you about the rest of these mooks) to have to rely on these morons against Johnny, and to watch them self-sabotage over and over and over. All in all an entertaining episode, though. I'm hoping we get a double black skull elimination at some point, that would be a fun curveball. Either both nominated teams going in or a three way dance.

I know they edit the show to fit a narrative, which is essentially "look at these idiots Sabato themselves while Bananas the puppetmaster pulls the strings", but it is pretty shocking that no one ever goes after him early on since he's such a big threat every season.
That being said, I kind of get why Dario and Nicole didn't want to make a power play. There is no way bananas and Sarah or Vince and Jenna don't destroy nate and christina.

There is a way better chance of someone beating Bananas or Vince in an elimination than in the final, especially the wacky eliminations we've had this year. The only way for them to get you back is if they win a challenge, and they've only won 2 between them this whole season. It's a low risk high reward move. Sending in someone besides them is more risk (because you alienate the everyone against Bananas coalition) and less reward (because you stand a better chance against them in a final anyway).

There's more of a chance vinny and bananas teams win challenges now due to how few of teams are left.

Bananas and Dario have always hated each other, it's not like they were already bros. And for the record, ChristiNate and Coreley have as many challenge wins as Bananavince. Playing this the way Dario played this guarantees it'll be 3 against and 3 "for" (but actually Bananas will discard you whenever he feels like it). Sending in Bananas and Vince gives you a chance that it'll be 5 on 1 with you on the 5, or worst case 4 on 2 with you on the 4.

Probably should have pulled the trigger on voting Bananas and Vince in if there was a different team than Nate/Christina facing them in the jungle. It wasn't worth having the two best teams in the house coming back and gunning for you.

It wasn't worth having the two best teams in the house coming back and gunning for you. It's not like Bananas has any shortage of enemies/targets, though. At this point in the game why would he send you (Dario) in instead of Wes? Or Corey? Bananas cares more about winning than being petty, and he cares a LOT about being petty. Not true. Bananas/Vince have 3, the other foresome only has 2. Fair enough, but still. It's not like they're dominating the challenges, and they keep getting weirder as evidenced by Dario of all people winning one.

i'm the one who said Nate and Christina had a better chance in eliminations than you were giving them credit for. if they can send home Cory, they could just as easily have sent home Vince. like Wes said in the second elimination, nobody trained for the stuff they have them doing in this year's eliminations. if they were still doing Oppenheimer then of course don't send in Bananas/Vince against Nate, that's a layup. but they're not, so he should. play it out. even if Dario sends in Bananas/Vince and they come back, Bananas is going to send Cory and Wes in for elimination, because they're the biggest threats to him in the Final. Dario is like the buzzing of flies to him.
