Thomas Robinson 21 PF/C 6'10 237 Kansas B C- D+ B- B+ B The Good: Robinson is a high-motor forward that possesses the power/athleticism combination to be one of the best rebounders in the league. He was second in the nation in rebounding last season and excels in crashing the offensive glass. Robinson can finish with power at the rim; he got to the free throw line at a high rate during his junior season at Kansas. He has a solid jumper and is more than willing to take advantage of defenders that back off of him. As a post defender, he does a good job of holding his position and forcing his man into difficult shots. The Bad: Robinson doesn't excel at any one area offensively His moves in the post are limited, and he's not as likely to get away with relying on his physical tools so much at the next level. The Ugly: Won't block or alter many shots and can’t be relied on as a rim protector.

So a good post defender but not a rim protector. Ugh.

I remember the big debate in DC leading up to the draft was whether they should take Beal, MKG or Thomas Robinson
